  1. You are probably not going to like the answer just as Chuck didn't several months ago. The smartzoom settings were set in Diaftias original mod and they were not touched since. The Smartzoom feature was something that was no longer in demand after firmware 2.0. It Is really something that is not used much and therefore not updated much. I have never used this feature nor have I needed it. I have left my V2.75 download open as that is more geared towards smartzoom.
  2. Make sure that you go into 'Data\ui_pioneer\common\ui\variable_def.ui' and add this code at the bottom ;Tripcomp <var vTripCompActive=0> <var vSpeedLogActive=0> ;Tripcomp (End)
  3. delete your user data. I left instructions in the 3.1 thread
  4. To fix the error message try deleting your user data. Your user data is in “My Flash Disk\User\UserData". Delete the entire 'IGO' folder
  5. First of all, take care of any problems you are having with the FX3.1. My mod will work with any firmware version 3.0 and higher. Yes, leave the schemes in their zipped format.
  6. BEWARE!!! The IOS 4.2 will increase your battery consumption totally, meaning that instead of 7-8 hrs battery life, you will only get about 4-5 max, and that is with brightness down etc.. It is not worth it for me
  7. The trip computer is still not 100%, but it works better than it did. Just look at my code at the bottom of 'trip computer.ui'. This prolongs the startup slightly of the trip computer. I also added a line of code elsewhere which I will let you know later on exactly where it is as I need my computer for that

I don't think that the theme is complete yet, so no download as of yet
  9. Yeah, mine is et to 'ON' and the polarity is set to 'BATTERY'. Hmmm the only thing that I would do if I was in your shoes is pull out the deck and make sure that everything is still connected properly and that the input is pushed all the way in. If that does not work, try reuploading the firmware.
  10. Error messages are GOOD! It tells you what the problem is and where to find it! Trust me, I can't even begin to count how many error messages I had in the past, but they have always got me on track
  11. Good to see you back!!!! I would just re-upload them back up on 4-Shared. People will always be downloading your mods!
  12. No, just install ALL the files even if they look the same and afterwards delete your 'user data' which is a must
  13. Yes, there is a fix, I have it in mine. Do a search in the F series hacks/mods. That is where you will find any hacks or mods for the x series (except X920)
  14. Keep in mind that this is not Pioneers fault, but Microsofts. I fail to see how a microsoft can sell their traffic software to Pioneer and then kill it shortly after. I phoned them up to get MSN when I first got my X910. Their reply was "Sir, MSN is not in your area, it never will be, and in Jan 2012, nobody will have it as it will no longer be provided" straight to the point without any compromise . This really sucks, as our Avics, which can be modded, and constantly updated with new maps as they come out, will never die, unlike other NAV systems
  15. Can you post your settings? I will then compare them to mine. I am assuming that the backup camera was working with the 2.0 software. Also, what input do you have the camera hooked up to? It has it's own input, and does not go in the yellow video inputs
  16. Keep in mind that ALL the mods in this forum with the exception of the Gurgon mod, all are based on Stan/Andre 2000 mod. That is why this mod has become so great, you can do anything you want to it . To bring a drop down menu, you have to create a layer, put the icons in that layer with a run code, and use a hide script to hide it. You will also need to create a button to call the menu. Both of my mods have that, just look at them and it should be pretty straight forward. The 2.75 mod has the button enabled (i made it invisible below the compass, i think) when the icons are totally hidden, may
  17. Hmmm, nice, but I dont know that I would upgrade to the 4.0 software on the Ipad. I did so on my Iphone 3GS and my battery lasts only about half as long due to multitasking and all the features. The battery longevity of the ipad is the reason that I bought it, so that I can use it for long road trips with usage of about 8 hrs. The 4.02 software will kill it with multitasking and all the new features.

    Looking REALLY good!!!
  19. The items that you are missing in the route menu are the ones that are only visible when a route is selected. The fuel calculator is designed to show you how much fuel you use on a specific route. It cannot be used (obviously) if there is no route present. Pick a route and you will see alll applicable icons appear
  20. To help you, I need to see what you have done as all mods have different scripting. Your download link does not work
  21. This is a HUGE mod, so in order to make space, you have to possibly delete some maps that you do not use. For example, I will never travel to Mexico, or Alaska, or California, so I deleted the maps and P.O.I's of those locations
  22. For #1, the solution is in the post above, for the others, I wont be able to help you unless, you put up pictures and show me what you mean. I did the UK version while have UK members test this out. Here in Ontario, we have no speed cameras, nor TMC,and the signs are different, so I need pictures describing the problems that you are having.
  23. For everyone that wants the 'Nag' screen for the trip computer disabled, here is how to do that. Make sure to backup your 'tripcomputer.ui' file before doing so. Go into 'Data\ui_pioneer\common\ui\tripcomputer.ui' go to <script sc_TripComputer_Ck> Delete this code INITMESSAGEBOX 0 "Trip Computer is Accessible " This should prevent the 'Nag screen' from popping up. I haven't tested this, so if there are any problems, let me know
  24. Sorry for the nag screen in the trip computer. It was one of the elements to make this work better. I will have to look into this and see what I can do as I use the trip computer frequently as a tool for gas mileage calculation on frequent trips that I travel. For those that do not use the trip computer, an easy fix is just to switch the tripcomputer. File from the V3.25 version, which is what a few of you had done.
