Are the maps that are in the 3.0 update not the latest ones? This link is using RapidShare and unless you are not a premium member, it will take aproximately 1 year to download 1.6 GB of map info. Lol, new maps will be available then

Nope, it does not work, the system just wont boot up . Oh well, I just reverted back to your 3.0 scheme and all is well. I just like the trip computer, speed limit signs and a few features that IDT has, the layout is very good,but I am not to fussy on his schemes and that is what basically makes it visually appealing. i am looking forward to your new schemes. Right now I am using the summer dark theme and the layout and colours are excellent!

I think you got it backwards, he is asking how to move DPDursts sheme's into IDT's mod, not the other way around. I would like to know this as well as he has some of the best schemes out there.

The sky looks great, but the terrain is all white and plain . Is there any way to bring some color into it, just a suggestion, green to substitute actual terain would be nice. Maybe you can put it into a scheme?

Why not use the keyboard that is built in CE? it is found at right hand corner of the CE screen. It is small though, so you will need a stylus to press the keys

It is easy, you post a reply, down below the reply box (that youtype in) you will see two headings, Options, and upload attachments. Under the upload attachments heading you just browse to where your attachment is and add it, just like sending an attachment using email.

That is weird, I just looked at my original backup that was messed up by the original and you are right, for some reason it didnt copy them over. Oh well, to late now. I already have the hacked version running and as far as I know, I cant reupload the original as it is only good for one machine and I messed it up the first time:(

Hi, I cannot take any credit for this as this is Superman's Red Theme mod and gnasr74's bmp's to make it work for the 3.0. I just put them together and tested them. Sorry for the sloppy photos but they were taken at night This is to show that it works for the 3,0 as for the location of the phone

Where on the SD card are the license files. I got a back up of my toasted flash. I want to see if that was my problem

Lol, I did the opposite. I loaded the official and it was dead at the loading screen, I tried to reinstall it and it just wouldn't. I spent 4 hours trying to make it work. I then loaded the hacked version and it works like a charm with the 2009 maps. Either way, it is all the same, if you update your software for the 3.0 version, then it is good for all the above. I am really looking forward to your 3.0 update because I still think that your red theme is one of the BEST mods out there!

Well, I tried everything and nothing seems to work. I have the hardware bypass in and I am wondering if that caused a glitch because in one part of the instructions, it said that I had to engage the parking break.....I dunno? After spending $75 cdn + tax on this, I now installed the hacked version and it works like a charm..... go figure!

I have just done the legit pioneer update with their 2 flash drives. All seemed good, but when the syste rebooted, it was stuck in the system startup screen which I could not get out of. After a few minutes, it would reboot. Anybody else have this problem, and how do I fix it? It won't let me reinstall

How did you get it to work? I have the exact same problem with legit pioneer 3.0 update

If you use the link directly on p53, then you will be directed to the ftp site already logged in. If you try to get to it any other way, then it will ask you for a password and username when trying to download anything. So yes, you have to go ALL the way back to p53, and use the link there

The 3.0 update from the 2.0 update is the only one that people are buying. The rest are just updates. The reason that people are buying is that they include the new 2009 teleatlas maps. The major difference between the 2.0 and 3.0 (graphically) is that the phone answer box has moved from the center of the screen to the right side, this might be all that really needs to be changed in your mod

Either way, you have to ground the Parking break wire, there is no 'just software bypass'. Since you have to do that, you just as may as ground the mute wire and you are 100% covered. It is not that difficult, just follow the directions at the beginning of this post. All the software bypass does is bypasses the mute wire procedure, but you STILL have to ground the parking break wire

Thanks to all who contributed to this post! The bypass worked like a charm. For the record, I connected both, the mute wire and the PB wire to the ground from the unit and it worked like a charm, no problems. One thing that I did see though that could be a problem: When I inserted the yellow mute wire into pin 4, it looked like it was in all the way but it was not. This could be the problem of the error messages. The pin can only be inserted ONE way, you cannot just stick it in and expect it to be fully inserted. The best way to confirm if the pin is properly inserted is to view the bottom of

I think a few members have found a workaround for your theme to work in the 3.0. Check out your thread here: viewtopic.php?f=34&t=24440&start=75 maybe you can perfect it and officially post it with your mod

The hacked version is an unofficial release, but should have the same properties as the official Pioneer release. The 3.01 is just an update but should have no physical changes as compared to the official. I am using your red theme now and I love it. I have my update on order from Pioneer and I hope that it will be available for it. If you design the red theme to work for 3.0, then it should work for the others as well as they all have the same properties. If I am wrong, somebody, please tell me

I cant argue with the fact that the fonts are excellent, I find that Pioneer should have made an option to change the colour of the GUI to match present vehicles. I just dont like the dark grey look, it looks to plain.

That is what I thought. Where do you get these? I tried one site for the new '09 maps for the 3.0 version, but they were only for the US
