  1. here are some pics of a GM Tri-band antenna on a Dodge Quad Cab... [/url]
  2. Obviously the best place for a nav antenna would be on the roof of the vehicle, however this is not always the easiest place to install nor does it accent the look of a vehicle with an unsightly wire. You can install a nav antenna under any dashboard that doesn't have metal in it, and it will work fine. The other route is to use a factory or aftermarket drill in type antenna as in the GM, Audi or VW vehicles. I purchased a couple of the GM 3 band antennas(XM, GPS and cellular) and installed them, the only catch is you need wire extensions for the portion of the antenna that you want to use. Th
  3. The only double din kit out there for your vehicle is made by scosche. I installed a D1 in a 2000 Maxima with this kit, modifications were necessary. The mounting holes in the radio bracket had to be pounded flat and new holes drilled 1/4" ferther up. The kit also had to be modified because the double din opening did not match up with the D1. Once it was all modified it looked really good, especially because the kit is colormatched to the rest of the dash. It wasn't a complete match but you can only tell from certain angles and it sure as hell looks better than a plain black plastic kit...
  4. I can sell you any length extension necessary with fittings that will work.
  5. That was me, apparently I wasn't logged in...
  6. This DOES work, I handmake these bypasses myself, they are installed and working on all 3 of the installer vehicles at my shop. I have sold dozens of them on ebay, just check my feedback! I have had a handful of people with problems with my bypass. It is attributed to installer error or incorrect installation of the Avic's. Either people are grounding the E-brake wire permanently or their speed sense is not correctly connected, as always you can call me directly with any tech support questions at the number listed on your directions for installing the bypass.
  7. I can sell you an extension with connectors that will work, but where are you running this wire that it won't reach the head unit? If your running it from the back of an SUV, your probably bettor off coming down one side of the headliner inot an Apillar and then over to the head unit.
