  1. Hey guys I had this same problem but it was not sudden. At first for a couple of months I couldn't type in addresses and crap. And then the Insert appropriate disc problem started. I just downloaded the Latest images CD-MV90T I think and it workes like a charm again . Good luck to all of you.
  2. Your welcome man, Here in DC we didn't get any major updates. There is a new road in Rockville MD that isnt showing yet
  3. No problem bro, thank you for taking time and explaining how to get it all working.
  4. I had the same problem with the XM unit.... I ended up putting it in the glove box (mine was empty) until i can find a better place. What about the XM antenna? where did you put it?
  5. I called xm today to get the nav traffic and she told me that my unit isn't nav traffic ready. I was like I have the gex-p10xmt and she was like yes but that unit isnt nav traffic and shit and I was like whatever I read enough bad reviews online about your nav traffic so I didnt even bother with that hard headed rep. I say cancel it and go with just the audio package.
  6. omg I feel so stupid now. I left no-ip running on both my pc and the server so there was an ip conflict, everything is working fine now. Downloads are up and working again.
  7. Hey guys these seem to work just fine for me. Hey Paul could you please see if both links are working? Thank you in advance --tonton
  8. Sure VGA to RCA and thats it. But why would you connect a laptop that has a screen to a smaller screen with a shittier resolution.
  9. 1st Post Edited. Ok thunder its fixed now. Its HTTP not FTP anymore so just click on whichever link you need on my 1st post.
  10. Yes these will work on the avic-d1
  11. Teamrush I moving the FTP server out from my homebased server to an actual server. Try again in a couple of hours.
  12. Cupcake as you know it, was a joke from some programmer, he made a chat app on the market and just named it cupcake so he can get download counts. The cupcake we are talking about is the codename for Android 1.5 (I guess you have the 1.0). 1.5 has video recorder, stereo bluetooth and much more new stuff (it also has many bug fixes). Its being sent OTA (Over The Air) as we speak so you should get it very soon. If you don't want to wait, head over to the xda-developers forums and go under the HTC Dream (G1) forum and look for the update files, its very easy to apply it. -- tonton
  13. Hey man If it says premium sound on your radio than you definatly have an amplifier (look under the driver seat from the back and you should see it, its covered with a metal shell.) In my SI sedan I have and we have the same sound system as the 4dr EX.
  14. Hitman yea thats the dash kit you need. $150 sounds like a great deal to me.
  15. Hitman, maybe they were talking about the OEM dash kit. I got the scosche kit on ebay for around $30 and you will also need a wiring harness so you wont have to be splicing all sorts of cables. Yea the XM tuner is plug n play, open the dash plug it, hide it, enjoy it, that simple. And for Marky you are going to need to bypass the stock amp because the civic ex and SI come with a stock amplifier.
  16. Hey Hitman I stumble on a cool link for you. http://www.8thcivic.com/forums/audio/98 ... stall.html It shows you a detailed installation of an avic-d3 (same as most head units tho).
  17. Yea man 500 was absolutely crazy, $130 was a reasonable price a 2 - 3 hours job.
  18. Yea man. But I wouldn't recommend you doing the whole install on your own unless you have some experience. Tweeter quoted me $500 for the install, circuit city $130.
  19. yea man the icon of the video is showing on my youtube account. Give it 10 mins and it should be ready, its a 182mb file.
  20. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8xnZnno_6AE There we go. Just give it couple of minutes for it to process.
