  1. First I must say, very nice mod!! I haven't had a chance to try it out yet, but the look is great. I just have one question. Where do I turn off the illustrated text? Like I said, I haven't tried the nav out yet, but if I run into the memory problem I want to be prepared. Thanks! -Brian
  2. I used the one here without problems.
  3. I skipped 3.01 and have had no problems. If you read the update instructions on pioneer's site it says if the version is 3.01 or earlier/smaller then continue with the update.
  4. Thanks gwilli! I must have read right past that post. I read the 3.02 instal instructions on pioneers website and it said the 3.02 update would work with any 3.xxxx version. I skipped the 3.01 update and jumped straight to 3.02, worked like a charm. I also tried moving the DATA folder from MYFLASHDRIVE/ over to MYFLASHDRIVE/APL2/IGO/ and the unit got all screwy. The beeps only worked with certain selections and the GPS wouldn't locate. I moved it back to MYFLASHDRIVE/ and everything is working perfectly. -Brian
  5. I just did the 3.0 update on my f900. Everything seems to be working. I just have one question. I used the downloads from ITGuy and everything worked great, even checked the hashes, no problems. I followed the instructions throughout the thread. I didn't have a DATA.ZIP in the DL, I had a DATA folder (it looked correct because it was aprox 1.5 gig). When I coppied everything over to the My Flash Disk, that's where the Data folder went (MyFlashDisk/Data). I didn't move it to the MyFlashDisk/APL2/iGo destination. Is that OK? When I check the service info it says Maps 02.000300, Version 3.000300.
  6. I got it figured out. The cable I had was indeed the one from pioneer but the idiot that installed it cut off the male USB nearest the ipod plug. A new cable and all was fixed. Thanks for the help! -JB
  7. That is the cable I have. There is no male USB plug to go into the unit. Correct me if I am wrong but, do I have to use the cable that came with my ipod to plug into the USB on the pioneer cable? If so, does that make the ipod plug on the pioneer cable purely useless? -JB
  8. There is no USB portion to the ipod cable, that I can see. The ipod is a 6th gen classic 120gb. I have also tried 2 3rd gen nanos, a 5th gen video, 2nd gen touch, and a iphone 3G. -JB
  9. I have an F900BT in my Scion xB RS6. The dealer did the install and it is a mess. I pulled out the radio to add external amps and to fix my iPod problem. The iPod isn't recognized and does nothing. I have the AV1 input set to ipod and still nothing. When I change it to VIDEO whatever song is playing on the iPod comes through the speakers, but still no control from the HU. Anyone have any thoughts as to what can be wrong? Thanks!
