  1. The AV-Bus wire carries the video signal to the headunit.
  2. Just like the head unit DO NOT ground the parking brake wire. Just tape it up and out of the way. The unit works perfectly without it.
  3. Thanks Steve. My old radio made it easy for me. The front face came off very easily (sliding 8 tabs all around the front) as one unit (buttons and LCD) so all I had to do was find a way of mounting it over the Z1. Luckily their is a tiny crevice in between the Z1 and the center console where paper clips fit real nicely. Funny thing is, if I wanted, I could just snap the face back on my old stereo and it will work perfectly (just in case I wanted to sell the old stereo).
  4. In a 2000 Toyota Celica: with cover on... 5. Here is my cover. It's pretty raw but it does a good job of covering the Z1. It is actually just the face of my old stock stereo that I rigged with some paperclips to hang over the Z1. It fooled my brother while he sat in my car. He just thought I did a piss-poor job of putting in the stock radio. Aside from my GPS receiver on the dash, from the outside you wouldn't guess there is a Z1 in there. It's not a perfect cover or deterent but its something.
