I don't think I was on the phone at the time. The bluetooth connection was active but I had the phone hooked up via bluetooth for a couple of months. Its a palm centro. The problem seems to have calmed down since I disabled bluetooth...

F700BT with update applied. I've had it for about 6 months when it started rebooting this week. I deleted the GPS files and so far (20 minutes of drive time) its looking all better. I am very relieved that I don't have to send the thing back to 1925 E. Dominguez St. Long Beach, CA again. Thanks everyone! UPDATE: the problem is back today. It happened while I was making a call on a phone I had hooked up via bluetooth.

I had this problem for my ipod. It turned out that the RCA harness cable was defective. You could tell because the sound would kind of flicker on when I wiggled the cable at the base next to the head unit.
