Worked for my 7000. Took a couple tries to get that spot just right. Doing everything immediately after starting the ignition did the trick. Whenever I waited before doing the sequence it didn't work.

Yeah there was more than one. Figured out it was the one that says wired remote

I installed the 7000nex today into my 2012 Honda CRV EX. Also installed and was able to get the axxess aswc-1 working. Honda has that small i-mid screen up top that i use for maintenance info, locks/lights and another clock. It's only accessed by the steering wheel controls. I'm able to use all the controls and get to the clock setting, but i can't edit the time - so its inaccurate but the pioneer unit is correct . Does anyone who has installed a NEX have a Honda with an i-mid?

Which input did you guys use to connect to the back of the pioneer unit? There isn't anything specifically mentioning steering wheel controls so i'm not sure which to utilize?

Has anyone had success with this on the 7000?

The Teleatlas ones. You should be able just to replace the contents of the existing folders. You'll probably have to delete some stuff. I found the 2010 files to be a lot larger and had to get rid of mexico, canada, hawaii, alaska and some other states I'll never see.

You can replace the old maps with the new 2010.6 ones, i found them at http://www.igo-maps.info/

Got it to work, file must have been corrupted, when i downloaded it again that one worked. The new 2010.6 maps worked on it nicely.

I attempted to do the install this afternoon. I get to step 5 after the wince upgrade when it says reset the unit and leave the SD card in. My unit resets and the pioneer screen comes on then goes black. It will not boot into testmode, any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Nevermind, my bad I had to open the ports on my router! On another note, does anyone who is using this update have Sirius? I use it frequently and I saw that someone encountered an issue with the volume changing the channels instead of the volume, was just curious if anyone else experienced this?

I had the Sirius Tuner installed professionally to my f900bt since I didn't want to poke around back there. He didn't put in the new antenna as the old one was already wired through the car. It plays fine and quality is great but for every station it always says "no composer". I know that it can say current song/artist and i miss that feature that I'd always had with the external unit. Is there any particular reason it would not say this? Even when i push the display button there is no information for any of the options.

I did have the video settings on "video out" as all the other videos have been able to play just not music videos. I'm going to just try changing formats and see if another one works or maybe even moving the videos onto a dvd/usb/sd and see if they play there, can't figure out if the problem is the ipod or the avic.
