Does anybody use Chrome mod with european units, with european speed signs and so on? And anybody knows how to get POI and speedcams for Germany? You can add a camera by pressing the speed limit icon when you are in a new camera location.You can delete a camera using the cursor menu.Put your cursor onto the camera icon and press the red cursor icon.You then get options to alter camera type etc and also to delete the camera.

Abb Just got back another vacation(by air this time so no sat nav) and things look as though they have been pretty quiet on here.I agree the AV bar is big improvement.Any other changes while i was away?Are you still pondereing adding a TOM Tom interface?

Read the instructions. I think that they are on pg 24 I am having the same problem with the 3D buildings. I have tried all 3 settings from close to far and still see no buildings. I read the directions and didn't find the answer. Am I missing something or is there maybe another setting that needs to be enabled/disabled inorder for the bldgs to show??? Thanks in advance Mike The 3D buildings only show if they are actually there!In the UK I have yet to come across any,although I am sure if I drive through the centre of London they will be there.I did drive through Paris(by mistake

No, I have never had a problem with any of my schemes and the color, that is why I added a high 'glow size' on the speed text. The box makes the screen look junky in my eyes and that is why I have not added it. It especially looks goofy with the speed limit sign on the same screen as it is the same size and shape here, so two of them covers the entire left side.....Very junky! If you did want the speed sign back, all you have to do is copy the code from Diaftias 2.23 mod and replace it in my 'navigate map_800_480.ui' file under the heading 'your speed sign' (I think?). Replace the entire code

Abb.Any chance of putting one of these frames behind the Your Speed sign.On some of the colour schemes the Yellow is very difficult to see.What do you think?

Abb and anyone else who can.How about generating a bit more interest in the forum by starting a"how to"thread.For example..how to move the speed limit sign over by 5mm or so,or up 5mm or so.Start off with really basic things like changing sys.txt and gradually take little steps forward.Just a thought because we need to keep this place alive.Shoot me down if you wish.

Red background with white or white bacground with red icons? When you click on the MSN button, does it link you to the TMC info? In other words, is all I have to do is change the name from MSN to TMC? Abb i think you can select the traffic icons in sys.txt.(i just deleted the 2 at the end of the following: tmc_events_icon_set="$tmc.spr" small_tmc_events_icon_set="$smalltmc2.spr" ref the MSN icon ,this takes you to a sub menu which then has a traffic icon. pressing this brings up the TMC information.

Abb.I think long press on the speed camera sign would be perfect for adding a push pin I have yet to add a speed camera myself but i am sure lots of others have!

I had a similar problem when i tried to change cars.I solved it by reinstalling Abbs 3d cars folder.There was no logic to why it had happened but its been fine ever since!I tend not to change cars now

If Smartzoom worked as it was intended,I would use it.If Abb decides he can do something with it,then great!If not I won't lose any sleep because IMO it is still the best mod available.

I can see about doing this to the UK version. What is the point of pushpins though? It is so you can mark a point as you travel with just a couple of clicks.It could be for example a campsite you have just passed or a good looking fishing point and would like to find it later by browsing the map.You can then edit the pushpin and make it a poi or favourite. There you go Col, I added the 'add speedcam' for the speed limit sign to the 'UK Data'. It also has the latest updates. Just use the download on the first page again.Enjoy!
