Ryar.Regarding the sound issue.If we can get sound working by first inserting an SD card with music on it,if we change the audio source to say,FM,will we lose the sound?I have mine running fine by doing what you suggest with the SD card but haven't tried any other work arounds. -

Hi all.Just completed a round trip of over 300 miles with no real problems.Lost traffic info but I think this is an issue with settings in so much the TMC info is available at the outset of the journey but doesn't update.As soon as I can I will post my sys.txt on here(hopefully tonight)and maybe other European users can try them and see if things improve.

Just completed first trip using Primo,about 150 miles.Apart from losing traffic info,everything went perfectly.Junction views are brilliant,a big improvement on IGO.Looking forward to learning more about it in the days to come.

I've got a European 900BT. If you PM me with your e mail address I will send you the sys.txt I am using.As I said I have yet to go on a route but I am picking up satellites etc,when parked upî”Tomorrow is D day for me...off out on the road.Traffic works fine,speed cams are showing and text to speech all working ok.Only issue is with the sound,only audible when playing via SD card.

Ryar Reinstalled previous settings and traffic is back.First road test tomorrow so fingers crossed.

You won't get a gps signal on the emulator....your pc doesn't have a gps antenna .However you can simulate a route.

First of all delete the folder my flash drive/userdata/IGO/save.You should then at least be able to get back to the default settings.

Chuck.I think sometimes things get lost in translation.No one on here could ever be anyting but eternally graeful for all work on here.This forum would have gone by now if you hadn't carried on after Abb and the others left.I have always appreciated all your help and I am absolutely certain all other forum members do too.

Ryar could you please tell me where I can find the settings for traffic in Primo?I have had to reinstall chuck 3.4 and now I can't get traffic working.I did have it running superbly before the re install.

Chuck,thank you for your reply and I understand what you are saying.Sometimes it is SO frustrating when you think you have changed something,only to find it is exactly the same when you try it out.I have lost many hours doing it.That was the main reason I tried to stay off the forum for a while,my wife said I spent more time either on my PC or at my head unit than I did with her!I even offered to show her how to add your mod but for some reason she would rather go shopping!!

Chuck Will you be able to post on the forum the steps required to make the changes Adam has requested please?I am slowly getting there but would appreciate any help in how to changecos ours and/or size of things like next turn arrows etc.I can change the size of text,co ours of text but am struggling where to find the bitmaps?for the next turn graphics.The more we can do the less we will pester youî–Thank you.

Always happy to help anyone if I can,but unfortunately my knowledge is very limited.I can just about change text sizes,colours etc but I know that is only scratching the surface.I am just so glad the forum is ticking along again,I missed my fix of 411 when things ground to a halt.

Ryar,thanks for your reply.I hope you can find time to continue to explore further improvements with Primo as I have found it to be a very exciting package.Perhaps Chuck will get bored and start to work his magic with mods to Primo?I know how time just flies when you start getting involved with mods,upgrades etc,but when the forum appeared to grind to a halt a couple of months back I really did miss itî˜So thanks Ryar for giving this place a new lease of life,long may it continue.

You're right of course Chuck regarding sound quality.Unfortunately my RV is not the quietest vehicle on the road so sound quality isn't that apparent to meî

Hi Chuck.Is there an easy way to switch between Primo and Igo?Do you know if it possible to install the IGO favorites file onto the Primo so that your favorites are available through the Primo mod.Many thanks Chuck.

Installed primo today and I like it a lot.Shame about the sound only being available when playing via SD card,otherwise I have everything else up and running.One thing I have found is that if you scan the mp3 files on your SD through the internal music player and play them through that the sound does mute when the voice instructions are being given.Also you get full control of your music from the map screenî—

Chuck A big thank you for your work in releasing 3.4.I really thought 3.3 would be on my unit for ever,but now I have just got to give Primo a try.Also much appreciation to Ryar for his fantastic efforts with this,and also for getting you out of retirement

Chuck,great to see your continued support on the forum.I have been away for a while so it was a pleasant surprise to see a rejuvenated forum mainly thanks to you and ryar.Silly question...what is Primo??Any big advantages over what we have now?Would love to try it out but reluctant to mess with my unit again,now it is running so well.

You need to delete the save folder which can be found in my flash disc/user data/igo/save.Just get rid of the complete save folder then try again.
