  1. Thanks for the help guys. I am going to give that metal piece a shot underneath the antenna.
  2. Interesting... I've had similar problems with the accuracy of my GPS starting out to be SPOT ON and gradually getting worse and further off. But my antenna hasn't moved at all. It has been mounted in the same position on top of the dash (under the windshield since the install). I guess I'll try and reset the learning status and see what happens. Thanks for the info.
  3. What exactly does the metal plate do for GPS accuracy?
  4. Hey Guys: I searched through the forums for similar issues, but didn't find much of anything relevant. I just installed a D3 into my MKV (2008) VW Rabbit using the PAC wiring harness. Install went smooth and all the connection are proper. When I first took it out for a drive, the navigation was SPOT on meaning when I was at an intersection, the arrow was DIRECTLY in the middle of the intersection. Fast forward to today (about a week after install) the navigation is no longer as accurate as it first was. I've pulled the unit to make sure the nav antenna was properly seats and connec
  5. I just did the D3 install on my MKV Rabbit. You will need the following from Enfig: Pioneer to Car: http://enfigcarstereo.com/shopsite_sc/s ... 2R_VW.html Steering Wheel Controls: http://enfigcarstereo.com/shopsite_sc/s ... WI_PS.html Bezel: http://enfigcarstereo.com/shopsite_sc/s ... K1017.html That is really all you need. The install took no more than an hour itself, plus some extra time routing the ipod wire through the center console to the stock ipod slot in the center armrest.
  6. Can anyone find this background for me? I've searched around with no luck. Thanks!
  7. Anyone know where to find this background? I looked through this entire thread and didn't find it. Thanks!
  8. hey nobody said I was a good photographer.. haha...i was referring to the unit itself...not the pictures.
  9. unfortunately he is right. there are certain things that you can get away with and certain things you can not. Stereo systems seem to be something that you never buy used or open box.
  10. wow...it didn't even click to me that the face didn't tilt at all. That is a HUGE turn off for me as the radio sits very low and would be near impossible to get a good look at the screen in daylight in order to visibly see the screen without any glare or "distortion"
  11. I'd like to place an order, however their website doesn't load at all.
  12. as stated above, the D3's Ipod interface and controls has greatly improved since the D1/D2 days. there is a video somewhere on YouTube with the video of the D3 in action utilizing the new integrated Ipod controls. You might want to check that out.
