  1. Mine says status shipped but has no tracking number
  2. I have it but don't have any place to post it. I don't have an FTP server.
  3. Try this http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/ ... VIC-F500BT
  4. You can manually edit the phonebook database with SQLite Expert Personal 2 edition on your PC. Make a copy of the database file which is stored on My Flash Drive\user\userdata\phonedata and paste it to an SD card. Open the file with the SQL lite application on your PC. You can add contacts manually. It may be possible to export the contacts from your phone to an CSV file and then import them into the db but I have not tried that. I had 600 contacts in my iPhone 3GS. I did not need all of them so I removed what I did not need and manually added the rest. Copy the edited file back to the F500BT
  5. You can use the Pioneer AVIC feeds software to create and store the POI to SD card. That is the only method I know but I am still new to the device (got my two F500's in June). I have the iphone 3GS and have over 600 contacts. It did not transfer them all. I used SQLite mentioned on another post and basically edited the db the device created and added contacts manually.
  6. You can't connect the F500BT directly to the computer. You need to make your mods or add music on the computer and then transfer to an SD card.
  7. Did you go into the audio settings and change the output to pre-amp or both?
  8. Do you have the unit hardwired or just using the auto ac adapter? I had the same problem and found out that you must have it hardwired and the antenna connected. I do not want mine wired so I am doing without.
  9. Thanks Carver updated my F500BT today installed the new test mode and all is working perfectly. Now I sit and wait not so patiently for my 3.0 SD cards ...
  10. That is odd. I have the F500BT and I do not have it hardwired. I am using the power cable direct into the unit and the aux on my radio. I did the software config and I play movies on my ipod all the time while its moving.
  11. I have the F500BT set up without the amp but that is because I have an upgraded factory system with an amp and pioneers amp would not work with what I have. My current system is fine using the AUX in and the auto-adapter. The start up time is a pain but it works. A word of warning you need to have the F500BT volume all the way up. By default the volume defaults back to mid way when you turn off the unit.
