im still waiting for the firmware that allows my bluetooth to work properly with my iphone...last upgrade helped, but still buggy. definitely not paying $120 for map updates, they still need to fix up lots of maps and directions in jersey before I shell out any more money.

just installed this on my f90bt. Instructions were very easy to follow, and everything worked perfectly. I played with it for like 30 minutes redoing all the setups and taking a test drive. I am pretty impressed by the update, this is what it should have worked like out of the box when we bought it. Touch screen response is a night and day difference compared to v2 fw. My biggest issue with v2 was that bluetooth sucked bigtime, it would usually crash my system when i received a phone call and hung up. I would have to turn the car off and on to reboot it. I just emailed them, I want something in writing. v.3 firmware should be a public download to begin with. If it fixes all the current bugs that I have, I will buy the map updates, otherwise I am probably selling this unit. I have been too forgiving of all its problems since day 1.

wow, its about time they came out with a mpa update. By chance I went to pioneers website to check for a miracle of a firmware update, and it shows 2.06, which a few flimsy minor updates (3). Im happy i did a search and found this, and at least map updates and a new firmware are available. Hurray! I have been using my f90bt for about 2 months, and have been less then thrilled with it. I am having all types of lag, freeze ups with phone, and non-responsiveness...other than that it works great
