I did the upgrade over the weekend and had no problems reinstalling my old Image.res file.

For the map icons that's exactly what you do but in navigatemap.ui eurotuner29 - I'm trying to figure out how to make the buttons on the navigatemap_800_480.ui switch between opaque and semi-transparent. I came accross a mod for version 2.0 that did this (I think it was another users twist on Stanislavovich's mod). i.e. the buttons are semi-transparent until you touch the screen and then they turn opaque for 5 seconds or so. Is this what you were making reference to in the above post? I came across

Are you trying to change the actual black background or the three images for the destination, contacts, and AV source buttons?

I just customized my Top Menu and it is the exact same in version 3 as it was in version 2. The Image.res file you are looking for is in the APL folder, not the APL2 folder. A previous post had them backwards which may be why you're having trouble. cheers

In 2.0, the only steering wheel input that the unit would recognize for controlling tuning would nudge the tuner up, not seek, nor next preset. So if you're rocking to 101.1 (Preset 1) and push the steering wheel button, you'd go to 101.3 That's not true... If you hold down the Up/Down button on your steering wheel for approximately a 1/2 second or so (rather than just clicking it) it will seek for the next station.

This is a great mod! Does anyone know where to locate the ui file for the destination menu? I want to add the MSN Direct button back to this screen. I swear I've found the ui file for just about every other menu but this one has me stumped. Maybe I'm just blind... Also has anyone figured out a better way to edit and test the code rather than having to load it onto the unit everytime? I'm not having much luck getting this mod to play nicely with the emulator.
