I am having the same problem. I do EXACTLY what the manual says and when I hold HOME nothing happens. Any ideas?

I dont think its that.. I can wait for ever and it still happens.. I must press various screens to get to the WARNING message and clear it before the unit acts normal. The problem is the warning doesnt show up as first screen some times.

ok so im confused because in my unit it doesnt have a year at all it says 02.000003 or something similar. When you go to system info does it say MAP VERSION: 2009.06 and thats it? You have to go further than that. Each state has it's version right beside it's name. Touch "about", then touch "maps". It is also in the manual. hmm Where is that? I dont see that option to view state by state version info. Well also I must add.. I updated to the 2009.6 ... it works.. but still my map version says 02.000300 Why do some peoples say 02.000400? please help Thanks

I am having this odd problem since I installed the 3.0 hackd. I did it when it was rlsd so it was prolly one of the first guides. I think might have been more of a post then a guide. Either way, here's the problem. Sometimes after starting, or after a fast restart, like after starting the car, The unit ui will not function. It is because the Warning screen is popped up but I cannot see it. I must somehow get the map up and clear out the warning. Often even the map button will not work. I suppose the radio/music being on also might have something to do with it. The unit restarts in to radi

What is the latest map version, as listed in the "system information" screen in the unit? I need to check to make sure mine was updated proper and that would help.

Is there currently any way to get the complete 3.0 update including updated igo.. on a F90BT? without the update SD... I have had non stop problems and it seems aside from the cosmetic differences .. pioneer just fixed somethings in the software and now resells it for X... that seems a bit shady imo. Im a bit frustrated at this point.. I bought this unit in june .. the week I find out about the 3.0.
