I have had my European F900BT for a couple of years, and hacked into it soon after purchasing using a mod by Stanislavovich from 4PDA with great assistance from Boris and others, and a few tweaks from me which I posted. I am using version 2 of this mod. Generally I drive with guidance muted, until I near a new destination. However, I have just realised that guidance is unmuted when I end a telephone conversation. I imagine the phone side assumes that guidance has to be muted when the phone conversation commences, and unmuted at the end. Has anyone come across this, and better still does anyone have a fix? The paid version of 3d Object Convertor (http://web.t-online.hu/karpo/) says it will convert objects (3d cars) into IGO mdl format. Has any forum member used this and was it any good? Thanks Colin

I have sucessfully implemented a 3d Car in my IGO8.0 mod. In doing so I followed help on the forum which said But does anyone know what the ghost, grey and night files do? Can you use the night file for example to have a different image when in night mode? Thanks Colin

Does anyone know whether it is possible to vary the icon for each type of speedcam, particularly the advanced types. I have considered loading them as POI, and displaying them, but I suspect that as in the UK there are in excess of 4000 mobile cameras, the system could not cope with it. Thanks Colin

Thanks for the quick reply and the advice on the name issue. I note the reccomended code includes reference to cam sounds but I am trying to reference vehicle type i.e. car, lorry, emergency vehicle etc. On that basis is the code appropriate? Again many thanks for all your help. Colin

I am trying to create a button that will change the vehicle type, with the following code This works but the button image doesn't change as intended. I guess it is because the visiblemodel= bit is incorrect. Can anybody help me put it rfght? Thanks Colin

I am using this mod with version 2 software. If you tap the screen a circular image of a car appears just to the left of the speed limit sign, bottom right. Does this serve any purpose. I thought it showed what sort of vehicle was assumed Car Lorry Emergency etc but this doesn't appear to be the case. Thanks Colin

I am currently using a 2009 Teleatlas map in the UK. As with previous versions of TeleAtlas, the speed limit information is dreadful. Do other UK users have the same problem? Has anyone sourced freebie Navteq maps and are they any better? Thanks Colin

If I select the vehicle type as Lorry, does this: 1. Recalculate journey time based upon lower speeds, or 2. Recalculate the route based upon roads suitable for lorries, or 3. Something else I am interested for when I tow my caravan. Thanks Colin
