Thanks BorisM and to All, This MOD worked like a charm. Took me while to get it because I was extracting the data.zip folder first then making the changes. I used 7zip like suggested and made the changes without extracting the folder.

Took mine back to the shop, had them fix it as directed on this forum.... now it works perfectly. Thanks All

What is the File format on your WD 500 GB HD? Out of the box mine is NTFS. Thanks

I have the same type of hard drive for my 90BT, I think I am running into the power issue most have described on here because I notived the HD was not spinning up even though the light came on. My question is regarding the format. My WD Passport does not have the Fat16/32 file format...instead it has EXFAT. I was doing some research and I know that the Windows CE 6 will recognize EXFAT, but My Avic is Windows CE 5, and I couldn't find anything that tells me whether or not it will recognize that file system.

Thanks all, The software bypass worked like a charm on my 90BT, only thing I have to do now is get my break wire ground. In the mean time I am able to watch DVD's while im driving when I ever so slightly press down on the parking break (2003 Ford Explorer) Now on to bigger and better mods... Thanks again!

Please forgive my ignorance... I just bought the 90BT and had it installed over the weekend. How do you access the files on the device to change the background? I'm pretty savvy on the programming side but have never worked with units like these. If someone could just get me started with that tid bit I can figure out the rest. Thanks! Snork11z
