yes thats exactly what happened, i installed the 3.0 from the X910bt that was posted up in that "complete install" thread but the ONLY reason i went ahead with it is because so many people, including F900BT owners, said it worked fine! please somebody help me/us out!! i need the older winCE files =(

Hey everyone Im in Australia and have an F900BT....and after installing V3.0, the menu just shows the "system startup in progress, please wait" notice and it never goes away, and the system keeps rebooting every 5 mins, and my USB isnt working either!!??? i put in my usb and i was in the usb section in AV source and it looked like it usually does when the usb is loading but after a long long time of waiting, it didnt load i tried to install 3.1 and the update screen loaded but it had a red background and it wouldnt update because it said "Incorrect software on sd/usb" so im stuck

hey when i downloaded the 3.1 update on this page and i put it on my sd card, i put it into my unit and it came up with the update screen and the background was all red, and it just said "incorrect software is on sd/usb" anyone can help?? and yes this is straight after i installed 3.0 please help

I got the EXACT same problem as you dude and no im not a noob at this stuff either! hey just a question, should i update WITH format or WITHOUT format if i have a few mods put on my V2 at the moment? because i have read many people saying without the format worked for them, and others saying it did with the format, but i dont know which i should do because ive added about 2 or 3 mods since i got my unit a few weeks ago. which is better? thanks

Ahh ok ok then thanks for that, i thought there would have to be more to it than just installing this file! But so basically, all i have to do is install the 3.0 which has been published all over this forum recently, and then install this 3.01 update then right? And also, sorry to ask the same question i already asked in my previous post, but even though these updates are not australian, can i still put my australian maps on it? Thanks alot

I just need to ask you, are you SURE that i do not need to download and install 3.0 in order to put this on update on my unit? i.e. are you sure this is all i need to install in order to have 3.0.1? I have an Australian unit and i have the latest australian maps too so will i be able to just install this update and then put on my australian maps once done? Thanks again

Hey Everyone, Im an Australian F900BT owner, only had it for about 3 weeks now and am totally loving it! Already put in various hacks such as the new Australian maps, the Mute Guidance Hack, and many others. hey guys, this looks awesome i really cant wait to install this...... but im just wondering, will this work on my Australian F900BT?? Ive saved my entire flash drive onto my computer incase something goes wrong, but if everything is done correctly according to the instructions set out on page 1, there should be no problems right? Anybody in here installed it on an Australian unit or an F900BT even? Thanks heaps

yeah same i've got the F900BT and it has a little blue light next to the SD slot that flashes when connected

Hi there, I know that AVIC-F900BT plays divx videos, and i have converted alot of the music videos i would play in car to divx so it works fine, and i plugged in my usb today and the videos play fine and the audio is fine but the video lags SO MUCH throughout the entire clip, and thats with all of the files. Does anybody have any ideas as to why? Do you think it may be the files? Each clip is roughly about 60mb after being converted to divx. Thanks alot guys

Sorry i can't find a better link of the camera ive got. I bought all my sound system from a wholesaler over here in Sydney and so all i can do is type in the model number of the camera i have and this is the only link i found: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/CL-CMOS-333-Butt ... dZViewItem At the moment its ridiculous because if anything, my camera will cause more accidents at the back rather than prevent them. Everything is the wrong way around (reverse) Please help thanks heaps

hmmm ok ill see if my camera has the same thing or something similar but so does anybody else know of any other modification to fix this problem??

Thanks for your input but the polarity setting only has 2 options: Battery or GNP It's on battery at the moment and that is the correct setting im assuming, because when i put it on GNP, the rear camera would show up on my screen when i put the car into any gear EXCEPT reverse, whereas Battery doesn't do that. Any other ideas? ANYTHING to flip this image around?? Thanks in advance everyone I love this forum

Hi, Does anybody know of a hack that would reverse the image displayed on my rear camera? Ive tried searching for it throughout the forums but i cant find what im looking for. Everything that is displayed on my rear camera is basically in reverse, so something on the left side shows on the right side of the screen, and vice versa. Also there arent any original stock options to fix the problem (there is just camera on/off and polarity). Are there any hacks or mods or something to flip the image around? Its a big problem for me and it sorta defeats the purpose of having vision be

hey everyone, i really need help with this. i know exactly how to get to the sound folder with all the wav files that are the key beep and stuff like that, but ever since i edited the key beeps to just be a lot lower in volume and then copied them back into the flash drive on the F900BT, the menu sound doesnt make the sound its supposed to anymore. Its just a "ding" sound now just like the sound you get as you navigate through the settings navigation. I hope you know what im talking about, its that "briinggg" sound that plays when you press the menu button. It doesnt work anymore a
