  1. Are these maps teleatlas or navteq?
  2. Thank you very much for the help guys! Hope both of you keep up the impressive work!
  3. Hey Abb, Great work on your newest mod! I was just wondering if your schemes/gfx would work on Daftia's mod or is it only compatible with your mod? I wanted to try a different mod for a change and Daftia has done quite the job but I am really missing your beautiful schemes!
  4. Thanks for your reply. I did end up getting the x10 and it does work perfectly. For the text notification, I think Pioneer removed it from the 3.0 firmware because I used to have a SE W810 and it worked before I upgraded to the newest firmware.
  5. Just wondering if anyone here has a Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 and if they can comment on whether the bluetooth function works with the F-Series. I'd like to know so I can decide on whether to get either the Xperia X10 or the iPhone4. Many thanks.
  6. You can also try this link: http://www.poifriend.com/poigroup.php?poigroup_id=7532 I think the other site requires you to pay for access. Also, I think you're supposed to change the file to txt or something. It's been a while since I installed this so I have forgotten. Forums should have some info to help you though.
  7. I dont know, we dont have speed cameras here so there is no way that I can test it . Can you post a pic so that I know what I have to work with. Thanks Hey Abb, Finally got the chance to take that pic of the speed cam alert problem. As you can see it is slightly overlapping the compass. I live in Toronto too, and there is a speed/red light cam database file you can use. Here's a link to download it: http://www.gps-data-team.com/poi/canada ... Cameras_ca I believe you can put it in the SPEEDCAM folder. That should be in the same place as the POI, Maps, Building directory. Als
  8. Hey Abb, I just noticed that when you use the small simple red light/speed camera warning, it covers up the compass. Just wanted to let you know.
  9. Abb, you are the greatest! These look fantastic! You are certainly one talented graphic designer. I'm gonna go put this in right away. And thanks for doing this up for me so quickly, I really appreciate it.
  10. Hey Abb, Great work with the AV and NAV mods. I am using both and currently love them. Your NAV schemes are also a wonderful treat for the eyes. One small thing though, for the AV screen, I find that the background that holds the music text should have some better contrast. With the text being white and the background also having white in it, it makes it a little hard to read the text sometimes. I know this is your mod and all, but can I suggest using a dark solid colour for the background instead? If you're already satisfied with it and don't wish to change it, I'll understand. B
  11. Hey IDT, Thanks for the new update. I'm looking forward to installing it on my unit. Just wondering if you ever included NSEW's mod for announcing the left/right of the destination before. I have it installed along with your mod and its really useful to have. Maybe you can have it included in your next update if it is not already included. The link to the mod: viewtopic.php?f=34&t=28834&hilit=announce+left Thanks IDT, and to all the modders out there.
  12. Hey Abb, Can you tell me what program you use to open the image.res? Thanks.
  13. Put the AV part into the APL folder and the NAV part into APL2. Make sure you backup all the files before you do it though. Thank you for quick reply! One more question, I noticed that AV part has a green bike picture, if I understand correctly this is a splash screen? If so I don't need it as I would like to keep my own splash screen. If that is the case do I still need to copy AV into the APL, but delete the green bike .jpg file? That's correct, the Bike splash is not necessary to be copied, but copy the image.res.
  14. Put the AV part into the APL folder and the NAV part into APL2. Make sure you backup all the files before you do it though.
  15. Looks fantastic! Thanks so much Abb. I can't wait to try it out on my system.
  16. I would also love to see a green one.
  17. Very sorry to hear about all the unfortunate circumstances IDT. All your work and assistance has been greatly appreciated. You truly are a blessing to the community. Hope things turn out better for you soon. Take care for now!
  18. Hey IDT, Love the great new skin, it really gives the unit a cleaner look. I was just wondering if you could tell me where I can change the code to bring the top bar and the information down a bit. At the current angle of my unit, I can't really see the top part. Thanks for any help.
  19. i just checked and i'm not having any problems with it, could you try reloading the mod, anyone else having this problem? I've reloaded it and it is working again. I'll try to find the exact steps to replicate the problem and report back to you. Hopefully, it is not just me that's having this problem.
  20. Hey IDT, Just wanted to report that I experienced the reboot problem again with your latest 4.9 version. I did have the speedcam option enabled with all the speedcam coordinates loaded. It was working fine in 3d mode, but when I switched to 2d and clicked on the area with the speedcam, the constant reboot problem appeared. I don't know if it's worth mentioning, but I also switched the speedcam alert from full to simple, then back to full prior to the reboots.
  21. If you install the newest NAVTEQ maps, you will be able to see them in Toronto, Ontario.
  22. just tested it and it switched to nightmode around 8:00PM on my unit Just confirmed that it is working again. Don't know what happened last time. Are you using the new 2009.02 Teleatlas maps yet? I'm using them right now and somehow they've screwed up the Speed Limit signs for Toronto, Ontario. 100KM is 161KM and 90KM is 144KM now. It's multiplying the current speed by 1.6. This didn't happen on the FW3.0 maps. Do you think there is any solution besides reverting back to the old maps? I may try the new NAVTEQ maps. How did you find them, besides having the wrong turn restriction signs
