try this, this was my solution, as a computer tech this makes complete sense and makes everything run just as they would new. viewtopic.php?f=33&t=25398&start=15#p173037 reformat myflashdisk so its basiclly brand new, and copy over the virgin files found on this site.

just wanted to let everyone know i got it fixed, and a BIG thanks to the forum and AnonNomis, and another gsxr 1k for their big help on different steps i needed. ill post what i did first off, save your igo folder, stupid me deleted it but big thanks to another gsxr 1k for providing me with the stock one. if your like me with corrupted files you cant do anything really, so what i did was goto control panel, storage manager, and unmounted the flash disk, the size was 1.8 gb, also memorize what partition it was, a few people have pat0 i had pat00. so basiclly you unmount the 1.8gb flash

is there another way to delete my igo folder besides just going to the icon and deleting it? like a command prompt or something?

also id like to add that my igo folder keeps making these corrupted files, they have square and other weird symbols, i cant delete them?

guys i still havent been able to fix my problem, ive got the virgin 2.0 files, ive deleted all the files in my flash disk ive loaded the 2.0 update through my sd card every time i try to copy over my igo folder, it keeps saying not enough disk space, how is that possible? please help guys this deck is brand new and i barely even got to use it for an hour and ive had nothing but problems these past 5 days

every time i try to hit the update button it says im missing a file, something like c/ storage/ lpue80/ 7z or something like that. what should i do?

im in the same boat... trying to reload the software get this, when i try to delete the files in myflashdisk it says it cant delete my igo folder?

thought i posted a reply but it didnt go through? so anyway i went with how to reload your 2.0 data but it seems that my igo folder isnt as big as what the guide says? the igo folder is supposed to be 1.5gb mines only like 2kb or so?

scratch that, dont open the folder and copy and paste the icons lol, just got it working now im gonna figure out how to get my deck working, THANKS GUYS

just tried it, extracted it, opened test mode, highlighted all the contents, all 13 icons, pasted it into my reformated sdhc card with sd card adapter (FAT32), tried it and no avail still =( incase your wondering i was able to update it to 2.006 with this same card. the new update worked for awhile, once i shut off the car however it never worked since, always stuck on the usually booting msg screen with the 3 icons.

also where is this oem reset tool? i tried to open the link but it appears to be dead. i just got this head unit i cant believe how much problems its giving me.

im in the same boat, i made a test card sd and it doesnt boot to test mode?? i put the files in the sd card, the mitacap and testmode but to no avail yet.
