  1. SOrry forgot to mention it's an unhacked V2
  2. An I going mad? I'm sure if I had FM on as source when I turned the car off it would boot straight into the FM screen when turned on again. Now it goes to the top menu with FM in the background. Anyway of changing this?
  3. The F900 is really weak on POIs in the UK so I'm going to add my own using AVIC Feeds. The problems seems to be that each category is limited to 300 entries. If I organise the folders as such ----ASDA Supermarkets ----Tesco -----Sainsburys The ASDA POI alone is over 500 entries. Does anyone have a way of doing something different? Split it into ASDA1 and ASDA2 with 250 each?
  4. You in the uk? Where did you get it updated?
  5. Surely the 2.009 is just a bug fix from 2.007? 3.0 will have everything the 2.009 contains imho. Just hope it has the ability to add a house number to a postcode....
  6. Read the manual Only kidding, look in AV settings and make sure your audio source is set to off.
  7. Do people have these problems with TeleAtlas in general? I've never known anyone complain about TomTom maps. My Garmin Nuvi has always been spot on using Navteq.
  8. I have read the manual and found it confusing, hence asking for clarification. I knew the mute option was there but not how to access it. As for POIs, I know about using navfeeds but wondered about doing it differently. Stop being such a smartass and read the post, just as easy as reading the manual.
  9. I find a MUT/ATT sort of setting but it's grayed out. Any ideas? Have tried searching without using a category and there is nothing. Is it possible to update POIs without updating the maps first? They aren't tied together?
  10. I've just had an f900bt installed and have spent bloody ages reading this forum. Got a couple of questions i'm struggling to find the answers to though: 1 - I live in the UK and on my previous nuvi I could type in a postcode and then the unit prompted me for a house number using that postcode. With the F900 when I enter a postcode it picks a number seemingly at random with no user input. The only way I can find to navigate to the correct house is to enter all the street details etc. Is this correct? 2 - Is it possible to dim the music playing when a nav instruction is given? I gather t
  11. Two separate branches of Halfords have told me that Pioneer have ceased to supply them with products and are only going to supply their top eight distributors. The Halfords manager I spoke to this weekend said he was not too concerned due to the lack of support from Pioneer. Yet two people have been told by Pioneer to order it from Halfords. Jeez...
  12. You know many Best Buys in UK? Even eBay UK doesn't seem to have them... I'd check with companies that specialize in trim kits for European market, although if it were supplied stock may be they did not bother producing it. Pioneer wold be the only option then. Try their parts sales department... Spoke to Pioneer who passed me on to a third party who deal with their parts. They had no idea about so are now asking Pioneer. Meh. As for Best Buy, none here
  13. It's included as standard with an EU version. Hence why it seems difficult to buy here.
  14. I've bought a 2nd hand F900BT but it's got the trim ring missing. Does anyone have any idea where I oculd buy a replacement? Ideally in the uk? Have spoken to Pioneer who haven't got back to me yet.
  15. I know. I tried explaining that I had just bought the unit (a lie in fact) but he thought it was fully justified as it included 2009 maps which are quite expensive. Retards.
