Thanks for the quick reply. As mentioned I was out from modding for a while, and could not even remember what my system has. After some research, it turned out that it already has the 3.0 from the 100FM upgrade. So all should be good. However, thank you for the offer on further assistance to the topic. I will give this a try today.

Hi Alex, Happy New Year. It's nice that you are back to the forum. I stopped modding my unit for a while, and just found your new mod. Very nice. It could give new life to my aging F90. I have a couple questions: 1. Sounds like I have to upgrade to 3.0 before install your latest mod, right? 2. The link provided for 3.0 upgrade, has an option for just upgrading the OS within the maps and POI. If I use that, is it good enough? Will your mod provide the map and POI data? Thanks in advance.

Hi Alex, I think the intention of searching in a wider area is good. But it returns all listing including those not matching with the searching criteria is bad. So you are saying, for example, that if you do a search for plumber it will come back with returns for everything including book stores? Yes, sir. That's why I keep saying it "lists" all the POI instead of searching.

So if you use the blanket search from the quick menu its going to search everywhere in a large diameter since its not given any constraints. If you go to the route plan screen and start a search from there it will be focused around whatever criteria you select (GPS, Destination, etc). This is the thing; I don't think it is searching at all. I tried, for example, press POI, AROUND GPS, SEARCH, and typed in "fry's electronics"...it returns with a long list of items that has nothing to do with "fry's". Then I tried again but search for "taco", again I got the exact same list which has just about everything on it, taco or no taco.

Interesting. I took the script that ran the search that you liked from the old set of mods and put it into this set of mods. All things should be equal at this point. Did you set your state as CA? I think by default it does a all states search. Not sure if it needs that to narrow it down. Feel free to look at the scripts. They are in the navigate.ui file. You can see what script is being called from the button that is being pressed. I will take a look at it again myself when I get a chance. I'm not sure this is the same problem as mentioned but this is my observation on searching

Hmmm.... Map should be offset it one of the 2D modes. I will look into it. I dont use the overview mode that often so I might have missed it. Btw, scrolling text looks great!

Hi Alex, I think I found a minor bug. This is related to the "overview mode". I use 3D mode with overview mode. When switches to overview (2D N-up), the map is not center to the current location. The location arrow will stay at the lower 1/4 of the screen. Same problem is NOT found when actually using 2D N-up mode. Thanks.

Technically, POI needs to have a phoine number defined, and phone needs to be connected. I'll check if it is working, though. I am having the same problem. The call button doesn't work for me either, even though bluetooth is connected and a phone number is present. Mine has the same problem as well.

I haven't noticed this. Did you clear your save files when loading this version? Thanks. I did delete the old save files. In fact the "saving thing" was working fine until I tried the dynamic volume, then I could not save any settings anymore since.

Hi Diaftia, First of all, the mod likes great. Thank you. I have a problem with saving sound setting. I changed the volume for the guiding voice but every time I start the unit, it defaults back to very loud setting. How can I make it save the settings? Thanks.
