  1. I have been noticing this on my install, I had the installers check it and they said it is hooked up. They thought that the sensors in the radio might be detecting some sort of movement with the brake up.
  2. My understanding of this unit is that it detects the presence of the HD Tuner and actively disables the FM option, so using such a thing is a waste of money on this unit.
  3. That's basically what I ended up doing. I got a 120GB ipod classic and threw it in the center console. I couldn't be more pleased with the way this radio interfaces with it and the disk support on this unit works differently then the iPod, behaves more like an explorer interface.
  4. I haven't been able to get my sandisk cruzer 16GB drive to work yet, but I am still playing around with it. I think if I wipe the U3 stuff off it might work. Not sure if I am ready to invest in a much larger external drive just yet just to take a gamble on if the HU has the power or the capability to read it.
  5. Yea, I looked at both units as well and chose the pioneer because the interface looked a lot smarter with the way things were laid out workflow-wise. I have been extremely satisfied with my unit.
  6. I can also confirm that the ipod interface is extremely quick. I was quite impressed.
