  1. Same here Iphone 16 Gb 3gs / 32 & 8 Gb Ipod Touch all running 3.1.3 update no problems at all, F90BT & F900BT both 3.0 firmware.
  2. I agree with Diane. But my F90BT boots up faster than a stock X910BT or at least the one I looked at. But it was a refrub X910BT. As i said in the pm I sent you the X910BT already has 3.0 firmware installed and is a newer model.
  3. If you get an F90BT and upgrade it to the 3.0 firmware it would be the same as the X910BT. Except the F90BT has 4.0 volt preouts for an AMP and would sound better. Load up /boot up time is much faster with 3.0, both of my F900BT and F90BT loadup in about 20-25 seconds. So there you go have fun. as always take care Jeff R.
  4. Blue is correct I have Iphone 16 Gb 3gs using it on both of my F90BT / F900BT try to plug it in after full boot up and yes it says do you want run airplane mode. Just leave it it works just fine. Charges and full access to Ipod. Buletooth works perfect on both. as always take care
  5. Joans Car F900BT gets full signal strength with no info.
  6. Are you getting full signal antenna on the meter on your MSN screen ? Your signal comes thou your FM signal. The AVIC finds the strongest signal on FM and shares it. Check your coverage area for signal quality. Go to MSN-Direct.com and check out your location and reactive your service. For some reason my F90BT gets all infomation within 30-45 seconds after bootup and I mean everything. The F90BT is in my chevy truck. My F900BT used to be in my truck before in installed it in my wifes car (Joan) The F900BT some times would take 1-2 hours to get the same info. It's works poorly in both my truck
  7. To JasonH Thanks for the great info. May I ask how well does the bluetooth work with Iphone, Contacts and all that
  8. BTW I fogot to say before I used a cheap cable from E-bay. It did not charge my I pod touch so I used the charing adapter to 5.0 volts and it did work on Joan's (my wifes) F900BT. I do not like using the adapter so I got a genuine Pioneer cable on E-bay. It works just fine without the adapter. My F90BT came with Pioneer cable it always worked.
  9. I do not know whats going on. I just got my Iphone 16 Gb 3Gs with F90BT / F90BT w/genuine Pioneer cable and Charges play's audio /video just fine. Check your connections. Try to plug your Iphone in after your unit boots up fully. See thead's on Iphone Under Other Products near the bottom of the page of the Board Index.
  10. Ok I just got my Iphone It's unlocked no phone service yet,But it does charge and play audio/video just fine. When I first plug it in the phone say something about airplane mode. I guess it's like a silent mode or something I am not sure. As you said I just let it alone and all is good. Again if your Ipod Touch or Iphone 3Gs does not charge or work get the right cable. Apple or genuine Pioneer and it will work Thank you very much. As always AVIC411 is a great place to be. take care Jeff R
  11. Are there any user's with Iphone 3gs not having any problems ?? I would like to upgrade to an Iphone 3gs. Will it work with F90BT / F900BT I have both. I an running 3.0 firmware from Pioneer. I know that so people have problems with Ipod touch charging with the lastest gen. But mine charges just fine & plays audio/video on both my 8 Gb and 32 Gb Ipod touch. On both units. Thanks in advance Jeff R.
  12. It's almost always a connection issue. Bad cable or loose connection. Use a good cable Apple or Pioneer. This will fix mosts problems.
  13. Try to reinstall 2nd SD card. Turn off key. Place 2nd card in slot. Startup, From the top menu. Press Desination. Then press Msn-Direct Icon. Then press status. Update should run.
  14. On the top menu press Desination. then on the lower right side on the bottom you will see the MSN-Direct Icon w/butterfly. Press it. Now press Status. This will show your MSN product key and Phone no. Write down the no. and go msndirect.com and activate your Key.
  15. Ok on the top menu Press Destination then on bottom lower right side will show MSN direct, Press it and then you will see the MSN Icons. then follow steps on this thead if want to see the diag screen. What I found out is. If your MSN-Direct work's properly it's very fast and will connect to MSN and ACTIVATE within 30 seconds after boot up if it says inactive or expired it's not going to change. If not it's very slow or does not work at all. 3.0 helps with signal but does not make it work if it did not work before. Also go to MSN-Direct home page and reactivate your signal. Msn will send a h
  16. Sound's like lots of problems. If it's still under warranty take it back. It might be wiring or just a bad unit. It's a lot of work to restore back.
  17. You can try to restore your Ipod and then re-sync it then try it. As long as everything else on your Avic is still inplace the same way it was before. On my Ipod touch 32 Gb I plug it in after the system boots up fully, all so check the VR settings. This works on both of my unit's F90 and F900BT Good luck Jeff R
  18. The Blank SD card is just to keep stuff out the unit. You do not need it to use your unit. I think the mamual say's 2 Gb SD card is the max but i used 16 Gb card in my F90BT and work just fine. It's best to get A genuine Pioneer cable or Apple genuine cable for your Ipod/Iphone. I used a cheap pioneer inmitation cable and it had good video and audio but did not charge my 32 Gb Ipod touch, so I replaced it with a genuine Pioneer cable and charged just fine. Yo can put Video/Audio/Avic Feeds on Sd card. As you get more into your unit you can use it for test mode and other mods. Most inportant i
  19. I have an update. I just placed Joans antenna on her F900Bt installed in her Vibe on the little metal as the manual say's to to do. Yes it works better on the plate. Maybe the dash doesn't have any metal at that part and I had used dubble sided tape to mount it. So I would say to use that plate it might help.

Yes Blue I agree but it is still pretty handy. I find myself using Google Maps alot, POIfriend.com as well. And for those that need a little help some simple stuff it helps.
  21. Here are the types of files you shuold be able to play on the F700BT this right from the manual. External storage device (USB, SD) Following file types is playable on the external storage device (USB, SD). MP3, WMA, AAC, WAV, MPEG-4, AVI
  22. After you put your .AVI movie file on your SD card can you play the movie file back on your computer ?
  23. Most of the time I use my Ipod but .AVI works well on SD. So in saying that after you download your movie, depending on what kind of file your downloading you must have the right codec installed in your computer to convert it to .AVI .AVI works on both of my unit's F90BT and F900BT. It should work on the F700Bt as well.

It's easy to use. Can't find your POI then make your own. Then save it to your system and life is good.
