You guys are not missing much on the voice command, I have the english version and it seems that the voice recognition works ok on the nav but the ipod part and the phone part of it sucks.. I have tried to change the position of the mic to 4 places and even tried a new mic but always the same results, It hears what it wants to, not me! LOL! I just turn mine off and use it manually plus the ipod does not need to go through catalogue when its off.

I must of missed that, thanks. I saw in the pioneer demo video that they had the USB and the Ipod icon was connected at the same time, how are they doing this?

I use the 160 gig for movies and it works perfect without any problems. I have also used the 16 and the 32 gig Sony flash and it also works.

What cable do you need? usb to ipod? usb female to male? try to be more specific. I have a ton of cables but I don't know what you need. Thanks

I tried to put a USB powered hub on the usb to plug both Ipod and USB at the same time but it did not work, anybody try this or come up with a way to plug both ipod and usb in? Thanks.

Actually I found out that once I re-synced my ipod w itunes and put it back on my 30 gig loaded with music and video took about 50 sec to finish the VR catalog. so its working very fast now.

What's up fam, my question is does anyone know why the VR catalog takes so long? I have tried 4 different ipods that I have and all seem to never finish cataloging. I have the 8 gig 3rd generation nano, the 30 gig video, the 160 gig video and the Iphone 3GS and all seem to never come of the VR catalog mode. I cant search playlist or anything but change the song. Just wondering if anyone else has this problem and if there is a fast solution? Thanks.

I have the 30 gig video,160 gig video,3rd 8 gig nano and the iphone 3GS and all of those work fine with no errors. generation and it works fine with no problem except the catalog VR
