  1. This, if you use your zip program correctly you can edit the file without unzipping it in the first place in notepad.
  2. Ouch. I have no other suggestion then trying to fix it yourself with a new jack form radio shack or similar store.
  3. I ask a lot of dumb question on forums I belong to and am not typically one for being standoff-ish, but you REALLY need to go do some reading.
  4. I solved the problem I had. The SDcard I was using for the update was corrupt/faulty. I switched to a new one and redid the update from scratch, worked perfectly. Maybe try messing around with a different card and redoing the update will solve your problem too?
  5. Are the WinCEIMG files for this the same as the ones for the 3.0 update?
  6. You physically broke it? Or you shorted something out and now it just wont pic up sound through the jack? What is the nature of the "stupid" thing you did to cause the problem?
  7. I also have this problem (f700). Haven't figured it out yet, but the GPS is not locating any satelites.
  8. Hi, I've just reinstalled my new f700bt (original was stolen in June). The first worked wonderfully and I never had any problems. My only major issue is I'm finding that everytime I turn the car off and park if for more than a few minutes the AV1 input is reset from iPod to Off when I restart the car. The only related information I could find in search was that it's confirmed settings like this always reset when the system loses power (gets unplugged, etc). What I'm thinking based on that information is that maybe the constant power wire (ifI remember correctly: system red to white/red
