  1. I have the x910BT as well. To the best of my knowledge you can't stream music over bluetooth to the unit. It would seem to me this is a limitation of the unit and not the iPhone as the iPhone now supports stereo bluetooth. I placed my GPS antenna directly on the top of the airbag unit on the passengers side which has nothing but plastic above it and I have had no issues whatsoever with GPS reception.
  2. I have had the x910bt for about a month. This video shows you how to do the bypass and worked flawlessly for me. I can't help you with the speed sensor though.
  3. Yeah...I should have clarified. My work phone is a Blackberry I don't have connected to the unit. So when I received the call, I turned down the volume on the radio, but the Nav continued to speak at the regular level. I just wonder why you wouldn't want the volume knob to control all sound regardless of the source. If I want to turn down the radio, chances are you don't want Nav Instructions sounding off either. IMO.
  4. I did have some people in there with periods such as Dr. So and So, but so far that doesn't seem to matter.
  5. I will attest that I was very frustrated with the voice dialing. I have read through several posts and while the consensus seemed to be that special characters were the culprit, I was sure I didn't have any. That is until I received a phone call the other day from a friend of mine, we'll call Mr. Cedeño. Then it struck me, the tilde. Yesterday I changed the ñ to just an n and resynced my phone and contacts. After that, I was able to call about 6 different people with 100% accuracy. I am very pleased now.
  6. I am new to owning an Avic and I just installed my X910BT a couple of weeks ago. I have searched the unit and the web and the forum. I am wondering if there is a way to just have all features use one master volume level. It's pretty annoying to have to set Nav and Phone volume separately. How could I possibly know what the conditions would be at all times ahead of time when I want to use those features. The other day someone called me on my work phone while I was listening to XM but had the NAV going as well. Well, when I answered the phone I turned down the radio, but a couple of seconds late
  7. So just to clarify...even if you cannot play a DVD in the back and iPod up front, can you still use navigation, or will the map show on the back monitors?
  8. Here is a Star Trek LCARS one for a Hummer H3.
  9. I just installed my 910BT last night and when I called to switch my XM over this morning they told me it would be 15 dollars to switch it. I told them that was ridiculous and asked her how much it would be to cancel. I told her there was no way I was going to pay $15 dollars for her to type in a few numbers. She put me on hold for about two minutes and came back and said they would waive the fee. Hope that helps.
  10. I just installed the X910BT yesterday. So far my experience with the VR has been. Dialing by saying the number works pretty good. Playing music by saying "Play Artist ..." works OK Dialing by contact name, not at all. I have tried it several times and have not got it to work once.
