  1. I'm just trying to use it for iPod voice control. That's all. It fails in every way conceivable vs my old F700BT. Friends with the same unit have noted identical problems with the x910bt's voice recognition being crap.
  2. Same mic that I used with an F700BT, and EVERY command is not properly understood. Same mic worked as flawlessly as can be expected with the F700BT. My accent didn't change, and I'm not trying to call anyone, because I haven't synced my phone up yet.
  3. Nope, it just takes one more second for it to incorrectly interpret what I've said now.
  4. I had an f700bt previously, and voice commands were understood 80-90% of the time. With the x910bt, voice commands are understood, MAYBE 5% of the time...it's overall just more frustrating. Is this a hardware problem? The F700's feature was handy...the x910bt's is just about useless. I've seen this mentioned before, but I figured I'd chime in.
  5. Small issue. The "Extras" icon should say "Extras" not "Extra's" - It's plural, not possessive. Sorry...grammar nazi. Regarding the post above - I'm using this on an x910bt as well, but don't use SD for audio...I use an iPod, XM, and HD Radio without any issues...MSN as well. Maybe it's an SD issue?
  6. Which are the "scheme" files that need to be copied over? I've done data.zip a few times. Sorry for the n00bish questions. Thanks.
  7. I know it's probably a stupid question, but what files do I need to copy to update from the previous 9/15 release in order to move up? Thanks again!
  8. Good job with the mods...donation will be coming soon. Is there any way to lock the zoom level? No matter that I do, the zoom level doesn't seem to remain sticky, in either 2D or 3D modes. Cheers!
  9. Tons of WRX/STi and Legacy graphics...would someone mind doing up some Forester "Loading" and background pics? :) Some good stock pics... 10. Comprehension > You. Apple LOSSLESS is a LOSSLESS codec, meaning that no data is lost when the file is encoded. So yes. Apple LOSSLESS is in fact, LOSSLESS. FLAC is LOSSLESS, APE (Monkey's Audio) is LOSSLESS. Before spreading misinformation, please know the subject matter before posting. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apple_Lossless
  11. And those who prefer not to listen to crappy compression. I've got my 80GB iPod loaded up with all of my music in Apple Lossless - Sounds at least as good as a CD (no jitter from the optical pickup), and I can fit tons on there...the AVIC-D3 plays Apple Lossless via the iPod just fine.
  12. What does this have to do regarding Pioneer's inability to design a remote that works in a sensible fashion?
  13. Am I the only one that thinks that a remote control designed to bounce its signals off of its user's shirt, and its usability varies with the color of the shirt you wear is a bit assinine? My steering wheel happens to be a little more upright, so the bottom of the remote is pointed at my pants - That's not an uncommon thing. Is the IR signal supposed to bounce off of my jeans? Again...poor design. Wouldn't it have made sense to mount the IR port say...on the bottom SIDE of the remote control? You know, aimed at where most people will put the receiver? (behind the steering wheel, t
