How sensitive should the screen be on my 700? Seems to have alot of areas that require several touches to get the job done. I have calibrated several times, even had trouble getting that done. When I try to change preset channels on XM, it seems to get stuck and change the preset to current channel. It seems to be a severely delayed response. I really think it needs to go ino Pioneer. your thoughts? Phillip

Hello everyone, I finally got my F700 installed today. I have a couple of questions. FWIW I also installed the Genuine 3.0 update. Is this thing supposed to be sluggish? It takes several seconds to perform some functions. Also, when I was installing 3.0, the second disc hung up on 5%. I hit retry and it went to 99% and hung up again. I hit retry and it finished. Could this be some of my problem? Can I reinstall 3.0? Thanks in advance. PHillip

Geez. You guys are tough company. All I was doing is making you aware that it can happen on Ebay and to always pay with Paypal. The reason I didn't go into detail is because the seller has been removed from Ebay. There was no need to warn you not to buy anything from him, because you couldn't. If you must know the sellers name was AudioNext24. One of the members here actually sent me a PM and we discussed. He had been suckered by the same guy the same weekend.

The 700 only has video in. Not video out.

The account was actually a good account that had been hacked into. The user has been removed from Ebay. I guess when a deal looks to good to be true......it probably is. The only thing about that theory is, that right now in our economy, you never know what someone is really trying to get rid of. Looking back on it, I knew something was up. I called the guy and asked the differences in the 700 and 900. He kept telling me they both played DVDs I knew something was up. I ordered the 900 just because I knew it did.

Just wanted to let everyone know. I was scammed on Ebay. I had purchased a AVIC-F900BT. I have purchased hundreds of items on Ebay. This is a first for me. I had even talked to the guy on the phone! I have talked to paypal and will be refunded, so it's not a loss. Just wanted everyone to know. LOOK OUT. Phillip

Thanks for all our help. I decided to buy a 900 instead. $379.00 shipped!! That way I can play DVDs straight from the unit and display overhead as well. That will free up my XDV-P90 for sell!!!! That will also allow meto install a sub under my backseat in my truck! Phillip

ok cool. I guess as long as I can get music to play deom SD or USB I can use AV1 for my DVD Player. Don't really haveto have I-pod.Is there a limit as to what size the SD card can be? I would assume 16GB will be plenty for me anyway. Thanks

I forgot to ask. How many video inputs are on the harness of the 700 ? If I read the instructions correctly, I will need 2 to install both my DVD Player and I-pod. Is that correct? Thanks again !

Well just as topic heading reads. I'm looking to upgrade from a D1 to the F700BT. I think the only difference in the 7 and 900 is the DVD player. I currently have a 6 Disc changer that Pioneer says will work with the 700, just can't be controled. That's no problem as it can be controlled with a remote. I have found a new 700 and updated SD 3.0 cards for $360. Question is, is this a good deal ? Thanks for your help, Phillip

I sent mine in and had the touchscreen replaced. worked like a champ. It cost $90 on ebay. took about a week.
