I have the charger I'm not using it maybe I'll sell it. No you cant import video through the serial port. You need the Iphone plug to do that. If your system isn't hard wired you dont need the bypass.

That's been described by a few others on the forum, not sure if it's been 100% solved or not. Another alternative might be tethering via USB, if there's a WinCE driver for your phone to act as a serial modem. By serial Modem what do you mean? I've never heard that term before
