1. Does anyone have or know where I can find a CD that has a test track for all audio channels on my AVIC-D1. I have a bad feeling that my installer may have crossed some wires during the install and I want to be able to load a CD that will broadcast a tone or whatever on each individual audio channel to see if the thing is wired correctly. Thanks
2. Follow this link. I have the same issue and I have tried to recalibrate with no success. http://avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7446
3. I have been having a lot of problems with my D1. I am considering buying the D3 instead of shipping my D1 to Pioneer and paying the $200 + bucks to have it repaired. I had it professionally installed. My question is will the D1 speaker, power and preout plugs from my D1 match up with the D3 so I don't have to rip everything out and start over.
4. I have tried numerous times to recalibrate. I think I know why it isn't working for me. Is there a step I am possibly missing that saves the calibration after I am finished going through the routines. I ask this because the last step I do is the calibration compensation test which shows exactly where I am touching the screen and it is right on the money. But when I reboot the unit, the touch is off again by at least a half inch.
5. Tried numerous times to recalibrate my touchscreen. No success. I guess I'll have to remove the unit and pay Pioneer their highway robbery to fix this.
6. I was able to download the service manual for the D1. I followed the instructions, and was able to get into the service menu. I tried to recalibrate my touchscreen because I wasn't able to access the buttons on the far right bottom of the screen. It seems to be off by almost a 1/2 inch. Anyway, I tried the recal and when I entered the mode to set the point of touch, it wouldn't recognize where I was touching it. Bottom line is I wasn't successful in recalibrating the touch screen. Any suggestions?
7. I currently have a D1 installed. If I purchase a D3, will the cable connectors I already have installed fit the D3 or will I have to totally rewire the car.
8.
The touchscreen can be recalibrated if you go into the service menu. Too bad I found that out after I sent my d1 out. 5 weeks and I still haven't gotten it back yet.
Can you post procedure to get into service menu for the D1. Thanks
