Well the BIG question is going to be: is it possible to decrease the navigation prompts in the other TTS voices? If so, how or what has to be done?

I've deleted the complete TMC 2 stuff.

Ok everything works now! what I did: I removed the commented tmc lines and further compare the setup from patper to my sys.txt. everything was the same except for default_language="english GB". it was default_language="english UK" so I also changed UK to GB. boot in testmode, delete savefiles, but keep favorites with your startupscript. Then copied the edited sys.txt to the appropriate location. Turn off (not reboot/reset) the unit, then turn the unit back on and everything works! still curious what the extra tmc screen does. Does it show on your unit as well Daftia? tnx ev

and with this your Bluetooth AND TMC AND TTS works?

I'm lost... this morning I've used the installer to install the EU version. OK'd out of the copyscreen. Then manually copied over the US sys.txt. Then reboot and adjust the appropriate settings. - bluetooth working - TTS not working, needs to switch to some other languages first before it works - TMC not working exactly what does the different sys.txt do? I just compared the sys.txt from your 2.3 mod whith the sys.tx from your 3.x mod. Why are the tmc lines different for the EU version? in the 2.3 version it says: tmc_events_icon_set="$tmc2.spr" small_tmc_events_icon_se

nope...Bluetooth is working fine now...TMC isn't anymore... I will look into it some more tomorrow.

Well I did jump to soon... Bluetooth isn't working. I do not know what broke the tmc in the EU sys.txt. I just copied the US version over it and TMC worked. The extra tmc screen still stays, but somehow it looks a bit different. I'm going back to my backup and start from scratch...see where it goes wrong.

Used the US sys.txt and everything is working now. Only the warning signs from TMC are yellow now, but I can live whith that. Still curious what the extra TMC screen is used for?

TMC is enabled in Regional. Tried what gehlkaus did, but no effect. attached 3 pics. first pic is the normal tmc settings page (with nothing present) second pic the navisettings with the red/blue car icon which directs to pic 3 pic 3 is what I mean by "extra TMC settings" (never seen that screen before)

upgraded tot the latest version: wow! everything works great. Except the following: TMC. I have selected tmc en no tmc is present, at any time. And what does the extra TMC setting do? A screen with tiny buttons to search for tmc hardware. When I run a test it says: no hardware found. My guess it is for external hardware. is it conflicting with the internal tmc hardware? Any suggestions? Oh, and I miss the quick option to switch between day & night colors...but that's ok.

Well I did find out that I can order a replacement from Pioneer via my local car parts suplier. In my cas this was halfords. (Netherlands) The price was acceptable: 14 euro's + 6 euro shipping costs.

I must be doing something wrong because i can't get this thing to work. My f900 has firmware version3.010100. I've pasted two lines in the ui file, I've copied another ui, other data.zip's... nothing seems to work. is there anybody who can edit my current ui-file for me? Any help is highly appreciated. ui_pioneer.zip
