  1. Might be a dumb question but does anyone know if the new blackberry will work on an appradio 2?
  2. I'm not sure what you're trying to do. If you're adding a sub just use the sub preouts. High pass preouts are just if you're using an amp for the highs.
  3. How about just having a pioneer frigin work rightathon. This thing is flawed and could use soo many fixes that we don't need another dumb add mixtraxx app. I just want my da-100 to work right all the time.
  4. The mic should work but you're going to need the actual wiring harness for the da100. iPod cable is specific for the da100
  5. You can program how you want but you won't be able to do presets and Track forward reverse. it's either one or the other. It's been that way on the past 3 pioneers I've had ( sph- da100 avic f90bt avh 4300) I've tried both the PAC and the axxess. I am using the axxess because it's faster response
  6. Get the 2 the first one was complete garbage. The 2 is good but quirky sometimes but if your patient I think it will be great. Steering wheel adapter I used the axxess swc and it works well except I can't control my presets on the radio not a big deal to me though
  7. i had the appradio and after a few weeks of having it i was verydiscouraged with it. i came from an f90bt so i had high hopes for it, but the radio quality sucks. the parking brake override is a pain in the butt.it was cool for the motionx but not worth it. i sold it and got the pioneer avhp4300dvd for the same money and it does appmode so you can use the navi how you want.
  8. try it again until it takes. it happened to me.
  9. i have an f90bt. i had installed the cnsd_100fm update from pioneer a while back. i wanted to update my maps so i bought the cnsd 200fm. now the gps has crappy reception if any at all. the antenna is fine nothing has physically changed since the other update. the old update worked fine i just wanted the maps.i've tried reverting back to the old upgrade but the system wont recognize the sd card. i tried redoing the new one and it still wont recognize the card. does anyone have any ideas?
  10. I've got an f90bt. I have the latest version of 3. Something from pioneer. What settings do I need to be in to see the buildings?
  11. The blue and white wire only goes to an amp to turn the amp on. All your wires should match up color for color. If you are using a wiring harness.
  12. Looks like you stumbled on the wrong forum. This is all about the avic car audio head units. Not much home help in these forums.
  13. Dumb question but is your mic plugged in? Is the mic plug undamaged? Does your voice recognition work?
  14. You set your color then press custom 1,2,3 to store it. Just press 1 then to try it change the color and go back to the one you set. Should be fine
  15. Don't even bother. 2 jl's powered by an f700 would barely move. Just get an amp and use the rca's.it will be much more worth it and you won't kill your radio
  16. I have it on an f90 and it works fine. The controls are limited and laggy. Voice doesn't work but presets and iPod track skip are all I wanted anyways
  17. Remote Model Number: Pioneer CD-R510 Navi Unit: F90BT Features Supported: Source, Track Skip, Preset, Hands Free Features Not Supported: Menu, VR
  18. sometimes i have full signal strength other times it is just grayed out. i can't figure it out. maybe it needs to be reset. i'll do that after i install the pac audio wri-p that i got so i can use a remote. fingers crossed
  19. Mine only works every once in a while my status is active and the firmware is updated any ideas
  20. Just an FYI I spoke with PAC and you can take the eye out of the black box. You just snap it out of the black case and mount it anywhere but they said fo it so you point the remote at the radio.
  21. Where did you mount the eye? I just ordered it and noticed it's square does the whole thing need to be visible or just the front? I wanted to mount it in the air vent above my f90
  22. you need an aftermarket wiring harness. you don't want to be cutting your factory wires. the new harness is all color coded to all aftermarket radios. it is real easy. so what you will do is connect the pioneer harness to the new harness and then the new harness to the stock harness. it's done this way so you don't make a mess out of the factory wiring.it's also easier to remove the pioneer when you sell it. the harness is usaually about $20 bucks (us).i hope this helps you
  23. so the msn firmware finally installed and is working well ( ive got my fingers crossed that it lasts). still can't get the illumination to stay at what i put it to. i set it then when i shut it off it's gone and doing the stupid random cycle. w
  24. So after contemplating doing the 3.0 on my f90bt I pulled the trigger and did it. It went well except I couldn't do the msn update. So now when I shut the unit down it loses the memory for the illumination color. It's kind of annoying. My msn works sometimes. It will show full strength then other times it doesn't even register at all it's grated out. What the he'll is wrong with this?0
