  1. Yes, but not everyone has those lying around... most shops would have a pack of resistors or so. Someone also brought up a decade box, but those are a bit more scarce. Either way works. I have a "PAC" POI-AVIC Demo Module box here at work and it reads a .018vdc (GREEN to GROUND wire) at the green wire if this helps. Connections on the box is: RED: 12vdc BLACK: grnd BLUE/WHITE: remote+ GREEN: park brake input to deck
  2. fuses do not protect the product, they protect the wires. Double check the voltage at the plug of the deck with it pluged in and turned on(both red and yellow). and use continuity at the ground and make sure its not more than 3.
  3. i got one NEW, $25 shipped to your door Pm me for details
  4. theres also a triangle shaped icon on the Navigation screen that might be the one.
  5. Is this it?? http://www.avic411.com/forum/viewtopic. ... =resetting
  6. ^^exactly my point. I tried to reset everything in the first page menu but it still has some 60 left in it so it will load and boot the 40 map but at the end it still wants the 60 map. Does anyone know what else to flash/reset.
  7. I have both disks(original). I dont want to do the solder bypass and i wanted to try the 60 map disk. It suks cause it still has the same maps and doesn't even have my work as a POI(Best Buy). And i rather watch my movies and still have the same map rather than not watch movies and still have the same maps.
  8. Any one got a way to reset my N1 from my 60 back to 40?
