For what it's worth, I have the exact same issue. It appears to be more of a problem the more albums you have for a specific artist. Wish I knew the answer, because it's really annoying. I do get the correct song list if I search by album instead of artist (then album).

Update: I decided to roll the dice and upgrade from 1.02 to 1.04 and can confirm the "music display issue related to iOS 8 and later" update now adds the ability to change random & repeat settings as well as see the progress of any song on my iPhone 5 or 6s. When you cycle the power on the unit, you will need to press play to resume where you left off, but if changing AV sources while power stays on, you do not. The 5th Gen iPod seems to be behaving better, but is still pretty flakey, mainly when the random function is turned on. I'm satisfied with the way my iPhone 5 is working now, s

Eddie, are you sure you can't upgrade via SD card slot in the front? I have an 8200NEX, and I was able to do it. I was under the impression that the only difference between yours and mine is that you can use Aha Radio & I can't.

Update: Just got off of the phone with Pioneer Support. They said "They have never experienced any problems with any Apple devices connected to a 8200-NEX and to send it in for repair". I hate those guys. I couldn't get them to clarify what the firmware update does to help. They just told me to try it. I'm relying even more now on this group for any helpful information.

I've recently installed 8200-NEX (firmware v1.02), and can't seem to get all the pieces to fit together when using an apple device as a media player (in this case, on USB-2). Note: I upgraded from Z1100BT using a 5th generation iPod which had no issues at all. I've owned a Z110-BT since 2010 (w/ firmware upgrades through the years), and am ready to pull the trigger on an upgrade to NEX-8100. I've used an iPod 5th generation with this unit with no issues the entire time. I just want to confirm what I'm inferring from other posts on this forum. If I connect this iPod to the NEX-8100 (via USB-2, because I will connect my iPhone to USB-1 for Carplay), will it lose "resume" capability every time I turn off the car? For what it's worth, I just installed the 2011 Navigation Upgrade (CNDS-210FM) on my Z120BT (originally Z110BT), and now getting the exact same error message. In my case, it pops up every 30 seconds or less. Very annoying. I'm really hoping it's because I still have my MSD direct tuner installed. Can anyone confirm? I'll try to see if I can remove it (since it's basically useless now anyways), and will update this post.

If no one is certain about why this may be happening, I'm also willing to hear some educated guesses. Anyone?

Noticed recently that my speed pulse value in connection status is not 0 when I come to a complete stop, ex. when I come to a stop light. As a result, the nav screen shows that I am continuing to be in motion. In one case, I was at the stop light long enough for my nav screen to show that I was continuing about .5 mile past the intersection. It only corrected after I started in motion again, and still took a little time. I've also noticed that my speed under 3D Callibration Status bounces between ~10-30mph during this time. Ahhh the entitlement society. If it's not given to you.......steal it. I'm with VBLUE as well. I bought my unit in January, knowing the upgrade was coming, and it would cost ~$200.00 based on info on this forum. I've already order mine, as I've been looking forward to it. As already stated in this thread, this cost is in line with map upgrades to most integrated nav systems.

... and for those of you like me that just couldn't get the right leverage with a staple without it bending, try a safety pin with the pin side bent out. It's small enough to insert into the front of the harness & strong enough to push the wire catch down. The rest of the safety pin can be used as a handle to apply leverage. After spending way to much time trying recommendations of this forum, the safety pin made easy work of it for me. Good Luck.

Seeing the exact same thing in Austin, TX. Well, almost the exact same thing. These two feeds always seem to be the last thing loaded on MSN, and appears they don't even start to transmit it until sometime in the afternoon. I've never had data in these two sections before noon, but they almost always seem to appear towards the end of my commute home after work (~45 min drive in the evening). After a few months of owning this unit, I find that I really don't reference any MSN data anymore, except the traffic stuff (and that's not perfect).

Only by wiring modification. It's well documented on this forum. There's also some YouTube videos on the subject. You just have to decide if you're willing and able.

In defense, the confusion on this is understandable when you're new to this unit. When I was comparing models in the store, it certainly looked like it was this easy to switch NAV view modes, which was something I really liked about the Z110. Of course, the sales rep didn't correct me or clarify what it was actually doing. It wasn't until I had the unit installed and tried it while driving until I had my W.T.F. moment.

Let me see if I can bridge the gap on this one. This applies to units where the bypass HAS NOT been done. VBLUE42 is correct. You can not change from 2D to 3D mode (and vise-versa) without the parking brake on. If you are viewing the map in 2D mode it will not change by touching the screen. If you are in 3D mode, the screen will change to 2D mode when you touch the screen, but only to utilize the cursor to find a street, POI, etc. If you do this while driving, notice that the screen will not change to follow your movement. I'm seeing the same results in Austin, TX. However, it does work if you add Traffic Events to the Quick Access selection. Probably good info to include when reporting this bug. It would be really nice is if this option was always available on the nav screen, and not only when a route is active.

I've had the Z110BT for a week now, and overall, really enjoying it. A couple of questions though. - Is it possible to set the track buttons on the bottom of the unit to scroll through my XM presets as opposed to going to the XM screen mode and using the preset up/down on the touch screen? Seems like this would be possible, but just can't find the functionality if it exists. - Other Nav systems I've seen give the option to turn off every voice direction on the route, but only request it when desired w/ a push of a button.
