Totally agree & can't believe I have the unit still. Had someone in my car the other day & they couldn't believe it when we passed a street we were looking for. They have a generic unit & even it has the major streets & such when not in navi mode. It's really sad being how much this damn thing cost.

How was it being abused? Am I missing something or isn't it just for resizing images? Just curious...

I used it last week & now I can't find it? Even when I google it it shows, but when you click the link the page doesn't work. Anyone know what happened to it?

I'm totally lost & can't figure this out. It seems like it should be simple enough, but I'm totally blank here... How do you replace the files is there a step by step on how to do this entire process for the not so technical folks?

I can't do it on my 110 & neither can my brother on his so that's weird. I do know what you're talking about though as it has happened to me many times all I do is pause the song until I get off the call. This is when I'm using the ipod which is 98% of the time though.

I have a friend who ordered it for his Z110bt so could I use his after he installs it on his unit? I don't know how this stuff works so will I have to do something special?

When we get the new 120 update/upgrade for our 110's will it reset the steering wheel controls or will they still work as if nothing has changed? If anyone knows please chime in. Thanks!

My friend & I use it for all of our music videos. It works great & you never have to change a DVD so that's a good thing too about using the SD. Unlike a lot of other units it will start right were you left every time you restart your car. In some other units this function doesn't work & it really sucks, but on this unit it's great!

Tried searching, but didn't find an answer on this... I want to use one of those shark fin style antenna's on my roof for my GPS do they make one for this unit? This is similar to the one's on BMW & many other new cars now. Has anyone done this? It doesn't have to be the shark fin style any antenna that is ok to mount on the roof. Thanks!

The Kenwood grey's out the letters too making it pretty much impossible to spell it wrong.

You can have mine if you want for FREEEEEE. Just pm me and I'll send it out to you. It is needed when you don't have the antenna attached to the roof or another metal surface. Look up ground plane and this should give you info on it. PM sent thanks!

I can't find the little flat square thing the GPS antenna sits on don't have a clue where it went. Does anyone know where I can get one? I didn't think I would need it, but according to the manual it helps increase the signal strength. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Exactly what makes the Kenwood a great unit. I had the DNX7140 & the cross street feature you just talked about was great. Last night I was on the phone with a friend & ran into that EXACT situation you described & my Pioneer was of no use to me at all! I couldn't even depend on my high priced unit to help me get to the street he told me. I drove right by it & had no clue. This same situation came up numerous times before, but I had the Kenwood at those times & NEVER once had this happen. Looks like I'm not the only one to complain like previously stated...

Maybe you should have a look over at the Kenwood forums on the problems with the Garmin software they had not long ago. The DNX9140 had the same problem and it remains to be seen if it was ever totally fixed. Can you point me in the right direction as far as who to complain to about this issue on the Pioneer? I did call TeleAtlas, but was obviously told it's not them, but Pioneer. I've been to the Pioneer site, but even calling the phone number on there I didn't get far. I can't be the only one that this is an issue for...

Garmin is more than a little better. This nav map on here is more & more a joke everyday. I was driving today & for what seemed like 5 minutes in a major area there was no street names at all! If they don't do something to fix this I will highly consider getting rid of it. I called TeleAtlas about it & they said they send Pioneer full software & Pioneer dumbs it down & they can't do anything about it only Pioneer. TeleAtlas is affiliated with TomTom so I know this map we have can be WAAAAAAAY better.

When the screen comes up I hit OK then let the VR thing for the ipod update & allow the blue tooth connect. Doing pretty much the same thing since day one she just doesn't comply with me anymore...

It worked great when I first put it in now this thing doesn't understand half the things I tell it. I've been reading & watching video complaints of this & thought they had no clue what they were talking about, but now it's driving me CRAZY!!! I have one contact with just the name "Brian" yet she doesn't understand that. Are you kidding me??? It worked every other time now she has no clue with that name or others. My mic is on my visor within a foot or 2 of my damn mouth! Anyone else having issues?
