  1. Went thru the reset process and deleted the BT connections. Then re-paired the the I phone to the unit works great. THanks VBlue
  2. Ok, I've got the disk with the PDF, I'll check that out.
  3. Thanks VBLUE Now is there a process to to a reset on the unit, or do I have to pull it back out of the dash to to preform this? I had it installed buy a local radio shop due to the process looked pretty involved, and not having installed a radio in years. I did a firmware update after the install but that was pretty simple. Thanks agian!!
  4. Hope someone can help. I have had my Z120BT for a few months, and I had my Nokia E70x paired to it with no problem. I just got the Iphone4 yesterday and after registering it last night I tried to pair it today. I input the wrong BT pass code on the phone for the radio and now I can't get it to even let me try to pair it. The Z120 sees the phone, and the IP4 sees the radio. But when I try to connect them they both say the operation has timed out and I cannot input the correct BT pass code. I understand from some reading here that you cannot delete a paired phone but both phones show up in
  5. I have the same problem, seems like I'm about 300 feet behind on the GPS. That is the only weak point on this unit so far. I have my VSS wire connected and have driven several miles for the learning process. I think Garmin blows this away as far as the GPS, but the VR and the rest of the unit are great.
  6. I have had my Z120BT about 30 days in my F-250 Diesel. I pair it with a Nokia E71x smart phone and the mic is at the top of the A pillar (same place you had yours). My system is flawless as to the other party being able to hear/understand me on the phone. My side of the connection is just as good, and if anything, is to loud at times. My carrier is AT&T and I have been planning on adding the I phone 4 just waiting until they have the bugs out. My truck is not quite, and I really felt that the noise from the engine might be an issue, but this unit has been better than I hoped for. The only

    Z120BT Text

Well I guess that I'm not that up on all the terms and the SMS Text threw me. You must understand when I went to college we used pen and paper. I enjoy the new gadgets but the learning curve is a little slow.

    Z120BT Text

Just a quick question for the gurus. On the Ford sync system, with some phones you can display incoming text messages on the display. Is this possible on the Z120BT? If so what phone(s) does this feature work with? I did some searches but had no luck finding any info. My Nokia E71x does not work this way but has sync with the system very well on the voice side of the features and phone book. The only thing I have noticed is if I have more than 1 phone number listed under a name it only access the first. Has anyone had it show multi numbers listed under one name?
  9. I finshed installing mine last night, added the HD Radio tuner, a Boyo back-up cam, and PAC steering wheel remote. Everything except the steer wheel controler seems to working great. I would guess it's just a programing error, and will work on it tonight. This is a really great unit, but the learning curve will take awhile.

  13. Hello All I just ordered a Z120BT from Al-Eds.com last week, and I looking forward to installing it in my 05 F-250 Lariat Crew. I plan on adding a Boyo back up cam, the HD FM Pioneer ad on, and I really need a great blue tooth phone link, as I TRAVEL ALOT AND GET MANY BUSINESS CALLS. If there is a smart phone that works better with the system that is ATT then I would like to know what it is. At this time I am considering the I phone 4, or the Blackberry Torch. If anyone has used these and has some experence I would like to know what you think. I also plan on adding the steering wheel contr
