ok, if tou man colors on the z1, the amp turn on is blue/white and the illumination is orange or orange/white. But if your the same dude from the other topic,(and i think you are), why are you using a tr7 when you just asked about the depinning bypass?

yeah, i found out the hard way, went all the way to mannahawkin to pick up a factory 6-disc radio, then all the way to mendham to do the install (if your from jersey you know how far that is) and the F-150 was the first one i saw with a standard antenna end on a new style radio. And changing the end didnt help anyway because the illumination setup was different on both radios. THANKS FORD -

yeah, some pickups depending on trim, but all cars with new style radios need them -

yes he does need the adaptor, you obviously have only worked on your own car, all the new style(06) and up ford radios need the chrysler adaptor if you did the bypass correctly, the speed sense should not affect the bypass -
not sure, usb is new and havent installed it yet to say anything good or bad

it takes a chrysler antenna adaptor, metra 40-cr-10, and yes you leave the plastic on -
dont need can mod, cntrylvr already told you where the parking light wire is and you dont even need the vss, hook it up without it, and if not happy, get the alpine piece
