  1. The 2.004 hack will not load again, the first time it did, now it does not boot to it. anyone got any ideas? What I did so far. downloaded the 2.004 patch, copied the two files over the the two from the Pioneer 2.003 from the Pioneer web site. copied them to an sd card. put the card into my x920bt and it said it upgraded to 100%. downloaded the CNSD-210FM from the torrent copied contents to my sd card, put it in my x920bt. It asks would I like to upgrade, I say yes. It asks for password i put in PASSWORDPASSWORD, it says enter again, I say OK, it says enter agian I sa
  2. Went back in to do the 2.04 update again, and it does not recognize it... as if it has been done already. Am I supposed to use the euro maps? I'm going to try a different card now
  3. i'll try again... I can swear I replaced the files correctly. One is in the first directory the other is one more directory deap for the 2.04 patch, which I downloaded the 2.03 from Pioneer. Thanks. I will give it another go tomorrow.
  4. OK maybe I am missing something... I put the password PASSWORDPASSWORD in and it just says retype password OK, and I do it again and again, and again... Any thoughts? Anyone? BTW, I read the posts several times, and believe I upgraded to 2.04 correctly, it said 100%
  5. Can't you just crimp the wires? This is a link to a 'usb pinout' diagram. http://pinouts.ru/Slots/USB_pinout.shtml Use a volt meter, set to tone (meaning if you touch the two leads it makes a tone). Figure out which ones are which and splice a new butchred USB to the end of it, and call it a day. I mean USB is only 4 wires. That is what I would do anyhow.
  6. So I just installed the Pioneer AVIC X920BT in my 2007 Infiti G35 Coupe. I am really having a tough time trying to find out where the Purple Reverse Gear Signal Input Wire attaches to the car. I understand the principle, but have not had any luck after a day and a half of searching the internet and poking around the car... I am stumped. I heard something about a purple wire in the kick panel on the drivers side... but that wire did not produce 12v when I put the volt meter on it, and started the car and put it in reverse. So if anyone has a G35 with an AVIC x920bt and a back up camera,
  7. From what I can tell it is .9" smaller screen. Someone please correct me if I am mistaken. Oh, and the non moving parts for access to the dvd/cd player. Kind of a noob here, so anyone's opinion is welcomed. Thanks.
  8. I am thinking the same thing! Wow! New user here. I was thinking how I could get my garmin/magellan whatever to video out to the AVH4200, or even an Android tablet. Not sure if this can be done, but I wanted my cake and eat it too. I am on a HUNT for the ultimate doulbe din car stereo... Been on the fence about Pioneer, Kenwood, and Sony, and heck maybe JVC, I do like the detachable face feature (too bad it is the only feature I like, LOL) even looked at weird brands, thinking I could find some jewel in the coal, but... What got me to join was where are you finding x920bt's for u
