Did u remove the sd card after u did the upgrade? If u leave the sd card with the testmode file in., every time u boot up it will take u to the windows screen

Thats exactly what my deck did, before i fixed it........ Are u sure your pushing all four buttons at the same time than after about 5 seconds only realese the reset and keep holding the other 3.

When it says 100% wait a minute then itll say reset. Take a pen and push reset button and then itll boot up and take u to test mode.....

Try it again for some odd reason i did and it worked

Imo these avic f are JUNK..... but if u cant afford one now they must be fixed. But if u do, NEVER EVER A PIONEER

Hmm after it reads 100% itll take a minute or so then it will say RESET...... after u reset thats the step where u will need to go to test mode and rewrite the flash disk

To enter service mode u press MENU,RESET,MAP AND EJECT when the screen goes black u release ONLY reset but keep holding MENU, MAP AND EJECT. That will take u to service mode NOT test mode....... To get to test mode u must download TESTMODE files to an sd card insert the sd card and it will automatically get u to test mode.

Sorry i meant do not install sd card until after step 5, when u do step 6 u need to have the sd card in.

Remember do not install sd card until ufter step 6. Up until then leave it out..... Once u finish step 5 insert the sd card and leave it inserted until u are ready to reboot to 3.0 update basically leave it in until u are completely done with all the steps. Hope it works

Its the same f90bt and f900bt are basically the same unit....

Ok so i was able to get into testmode, i succesfully did the wince upgrade (goes 100% then tells me to restart) so i restart the unit after being in service mode i go into testmode once in testmode i copy all files from my flash disk on sd card and transfer them to root of my flash disk on avic. I rewrite any and all files ( i believe there are 19 files) i restart the unit it boots up with pioneer logo, allows me to select system language, then voice language i click on english samantha, it automatically reboots itself and then just stays stuck on pioneer splash screen and reboots every 5 mins

ok so i downloaded testmode 2.3 on a seperate sd card now i can get into testmode, i was reading i should delete the old files and add the new. it says click on START wich is at bottom left corner of test mode but i cant seem to click if for crap. i used a pen,pencil no luck i can click on everything in between the top and bottom of screen with the pencil just cant click on any of the icons anywhere near the edges. someone said recalibrate the screen but to do that i need to be able to click start i cant even do that. any suggestions?

so i have a pioneer f900bt. just last sunday i turned my car on the avic turns on like normal BUT my language is in like french how the hell that happened? i have no clue (i drove to church language was on english i get outta church and it boots itself up to french) . so i manage to get to settings-language and find english so i hit english and the avic reboots itself (know all this is happening as im driving) splash screen pops up, then black screen and after about 10 seconds the lights on buttons and screen on unit turn off but i can hear the unit still running . i reset it same thing, i try
