Garret, Do you have any plans on doing any upgrades to the new 2010 upgrade that is available? Also while I have you is there anyway to take the drive out and get my cellphone contacts in there easily? Or am I stuck doing them 1 at a time through the Z1? Thanks, John

I have a z1 upgraded to a z3. I have not done anychanges since the z3 upgrade except gracenote updates. I wanted to put all the phone numbers from my cell onto the z1. I forgot how Much trouble this was. I deleted my whole phonebook assuming I would just copy my whole contact list from my phone to the z1. Of course it was taking too long to do 250 numbers so I aborted the mission. My question is: is there any way to copy my contacts into the z1 phonebook that is easier then doing it the way the instructions say? Maybe by taking the harddrive out and copying it into a folder on t

I want to move my Avic-Z1 (upgraded to a Z3) from my 2007 Explorer Sport Trac to my 2007 Ford Mustang Shelby GT. Are the plugs, harness and so on the same? Or will I need to get different plugs or harness adapters? Also anyone who has installed it in a 2007 Mustang (or even better a Shelby GT) any instructions or tips is appreciated. Thanks.

I was looking at the Z3 on the Pioneer website and it says under the Documents tab : "The Gracenote CDDB database update is currently not compatible for the AVIC-Z3." Does that mean that the last update that we have on there is the best we are going to have? I have a Z1 with Garrets Z3 upgrade drive. Thanks, John

The Z3 drive from Garrett is definitely awesome. Not only that but he is an awesome guy too. I must have bothered him with PM's about 10 times before I bought it and another 10 times after. He replied quickly each time with concise answers to my question and absolutely no attitude. Thanks again Garrett!!

Thanks. I saw that auction and was one of the ones I was thinking about. I assume it is am automobile grade hard drive that can handle the bouncing around in a car. When he says that you can hook it up to your computer does he mean that you can copy music on it from there? How is the upgrade with the add-ons like the bluetooth and ipod adapters?
