  1. I paid nothing at anytime. I did it all online. Don't recall they details of my RMA.
  2. I believe it was received on 4/5. It was past the standard one year warranty. It stated on the receipt that it was replaced at their discretion.
  3. I was getting ready to call and chek the status and the UPS truck pulls up. I was shocked!
  4. Received a replacement refurbished x920 yesterday. No explanation of problem but better still NO CHARGE! Im happy.
  5. Well, Pioneer is awesome in my book. Got a rePlacement refurbished X920 yesterday. NO CHARGE! I'm a happy customer.
  6. No XM on mine either. Mine is at Pioneer also.
  7. Seems as if it my be heat related possibly. This morning when it was cool it made it approx. 30 minutes before shutting down. This afternoon when it was hot out I went out and it would boot up and immediately shut down. Yesterday I noticed similar behaviour.
  8. Thanks for the suggestion. I was able last night to do a hard reset. Now it will boot up and run a normal for approx 10-15 minute then the display will flash off and back on and then a blank display where the music will continue playing for a minute or so before stopping. At that point only the illumination works, no functions otherwise. Really pissing me off.
  9. I am having similar issues as if the last couple of days with my x920BT. It now runs normally for approximately 10-15 min and then starts the wieredness and then goes blank with no funtions . Any thoughts?
  10. Thanks, I emailed Pioneer about this exact issue a while back and was told that it did not track the miles driven, you have to manually enter them. As if I had imagined it! Thanks for finding the fix and confirming I am not crazy. Now I just have to get my unit working again.
  11. Today I began having problems with my x920that I've had around 2 years. Initially the display would go all weird le half FM screen and half another, then the screen would go black but the music continued and hard buttons still worked. It would then stop playing music but the button illumination remained. It would reboot if I shut my truck off, but would repeat the same scenario. Later in the day when I would start my truck it would just repeatedly flash between the "splash" screen and a blank screen many times slowly and eventually go to a blank screen with no music, but button illumination re
  12. Nothing Fancy needed. I had the same dilemma with my F250 and X920BT. I added a simple momentary switch that when pushed supplies 12 volt to the power wire on the X920. You'll need to find a CONSTANT 12 volt source to tie the switch to. So I can now turn key to RUN and allow the glow plugs to run all while the X920 boots up, push and hold the button and then start the truck. The X920 stays up and running. Works when shutting the engine off and going to the ACC key position too. If you found the switch (hidden) you could jump in my truck and hold the button down to power the radio without a key
