  1. I'm still around for installs. I'm doing one this week in Lancaster. Hit me up with questions if you got any for me. Thanks.
  2. Today for the heck of it, I tried an old Pioneer remote I had from my Premier piece, its the one that clips to the steering wheel and it works perfectly!! I don't really need it as I already have integrated steering wheel controls but it's nice for the passenger to use so they don't get their grubby fingerprints on my screen. lol
  3. My map blacks out when my lights are on. I don't think you can do it without using the lights.
  4. How do you upload custom sounds if possible?
  5. Just did a local D3 install the other day with all of the goodies and it went well. Just letting folks know, I'm around to help. Thanks.
  6. To answer the original question about how to bypass the parking brake with the D3, I would just shove the D3 up under a tire in the downhill direction to use it as a parking brake. Hope this helps...
  7. I understand, but usually, when someone asks a sarcastic question, one would not answer seriously. See what I'm sayin? No big deal. Just bustin chops here...
  8. Wow, you aren't familiar with sarcasm are you? I even indicated in my post that I was being sarcastic... Anyway, I can't see the screen when its turned on, you think I need to open my eyes? I'm not sure. Let's see if we can figure this one out.
  9. how do you turn up the volume on the D3? I keep trying to use the force, but its not working /end sarcasm
  10. Pittsburg is a little far, but we might be able to work something out. Not factoring in mileage, but installed price would be about $975ish.
  11. I've done thousands of overheads, it's not that bad, just pop out the overhead light and use that as the center of the overhead if possible, you can fish the wires up easily enough. You can use the metal predrilled panel that normally comes with an overhead or I like to mount a piece of 1/2" mdf to the roof support beams and mount the monitor to that. Hope this helps.
  12. I'm an MECP installer located near Lancaster, PA and I'm available to do installs in the area for low fees, I will travel to you and get everything needed for the install prior to coming out, including kits, harnesses, antenna adapters, whatever... I also can get awesome deals on D3's, PM me for a price if anyone is interested.
