  1. That is what i mean..... if i want a certain song and i cant remember what number it is, then all i have to do is glance the list and press the song button i want. That changer does not do that. it just lists the track number. The reason I'm not getting an IPOD is because more than 50 Percent of my music collection is on WMA format which the Apple wont turn on the support for. Conversion? sure i can do that. But i am not. conversion will degrade the sound quality no matter if the converted file is capable of producing better sound that wma. if you rip the same cd on wma and on

  3. Thats the way it is suppose to work. Once it does this, on the razr, navigate to the phonebook entry, hit the options button (the middle button) and selet SEND, select pioneer BT unit2, and it should send the info. It will display on the phone when it is complete. ok... i see. I havent tried on the MOTO because in reality i was using it to test. I own the Samsung. do you or anyone know how to push the address book into the AVICD3>>?
  4. Hey dude... i have the same disconnect problem. I have no pictures whatsoever on my D3
  5. Ok i have a moto Razor and a Samsung SPH-A640 and im getting some weird behavior from my newly installed BTB200 for the AVIC D3 Basically it connects fine but for some reason when i press on the address book button, the connection between the AVIC and the phone drops. This happens on both phones so i don’t think is a specific phone model problem. Any ideas?
  6. Have you guys noticed how neat the display is when you use the built in player on the AVIC D3? it actually build a very useful Menu of songs on that disc I actually purchased the IPBUS CD Changer thinking that the Auto text functionality would be the same but it is not. Do you guys know of any DVD or CD changers that would do just that? no i'm not buying an IPOD.
  7. Its OK. i was actually expecting better quality and fidelity from a full "digital" signal.
  8. I think your problem is different zones. try to see if you can actually get those EU discs burned with zone 1 (USA) burned on them as well. There are a few burning applications that would do this.
  9. Damn//// i don't even have that setting on my phone. According to my phone, the following are supported by the phone itself HSP/HPF/DUN/OPP I have registered the BTB200 on the phone but i says that it only supports HSP/HPF clearly it points to some hand-shaking or negotiating issues between the BTB200 and phones Maybe i should get a Motorola....
  10. I have both antennas on my dashboard and it seems to work very well under all conditions. I still think the bit-rates provided by XM for sound quality are kinda of crappy. I'm a musician and a Sound Engineering enthusiast so i very picky when it comes to sound. To far the best sound outputed by my D3 has been thru the built in player.
  11. can anyone post on an Sam sung SPH-A640. I got it working on my AVIC d3 but i have to connect manually every time i get in the car.

  13. Well i was to supped to have all my goodies installed already but CF focked up and sent mt BTB200 to some low life in NY. they gave me 25 dollar credit on top of the 15 percent. I'm still kinda mad
  14. Guys.... sorry for the misinformation. You CANNOT load any sounds to the D3. this is based from the instructions manual.
  15. the AVIC D3 is all about features in one affordable package. Non-Volatile ram would cost more. I really don't think it has any. however. like most radios that can be customizable they do have an internal battery to keep the settings for a short period of time, this could be the case with the AVIC
  16. Sure you can. Even if its not possible to turn this feature off, you can still bypass it by adding a dummy audio file instead. That way all it plays is silence...
  17. yeah mines shipped today as well.... i cant wait.!!!!!
  18. Man... you guys are stright up d!k$. Let him have his 10 minutes of glory
  19. physical possession means nothing, He can take the info/site and put on another hard drive/server/web host and guess what, its still his. So before you start playing word games, don't be an idiot. All intensive purposes, IT belongs to jasonH. In the unlikely event some government or judicial court wanted to contact the server owner/user for this site, guess what, that wouldnt be GoDaddy.com it be the server owner JasonH. Hopefully this is clear enough for you, as this is clearly off topic from which the thread originally started from. Wow... let me remind you (yes you... SIR) you s
  20. No... i work for an IT department for a bank in TX. we host some of our services thru rackspace. believe me when i tell you we dont own anything but the data. The hardware is theirs and this is pretty much the standard when it comes to webhosting.
  21. Jason corrent me if i am wrong. But is think this forum is hosted somewhere else. Technically that would not be his server. He is looking into Eliminating as much as he can, discs swaps.
  22. Wow.... all those answers and more than half were idiotic or no help whatsoever and the cause of useless data stored in some poor smuck's server. anyways. I agree that the 64MB of ram that is in the D3 is embedded and that there i no slot available for upgrades. I would love to be wrong on this however. I saw on some other post and idea that has great potential but it will required people with great technical knowledge involved. Storing an ISO of the NAV disc on an IPOD and dump the firmware and code it so it will have an "IF" statement when it mounts devices. This will find the IPOD and lo
