I remember earlier there was a bounty for the person who got the fix, and being that you got the fix and supplied the link for the file, I think we need to pay up, Even if everyone using your link, pay you 10.00 that would make it worth your while and maybe more people will participate in gratitude. Anyhow, I did it last night on a Mac, worked great, but today, on 3 occasions, in the middle of driving the "parking brake" error comes on and then the bypass does not work, I reset and it works again, until the error randomly shows up. Any Wisdom?

Not to put a crimp in your statement, but if the bypass does work, it is because it will have the same software as the Z1 original. So if we work on the Z2 from the Z1 we will be ahead of the game incase the New Z2 is a farce etc... Clear as mudd!

Also an OLD Z2 user, 1 month old, May '07 manufacture date - outdated! Anyhow, has anyone officially verified a June '07 bypass. Would pay someone for image to update my outdated Z2 ;o) thanx

I did the Gracenote update and now my 2 wire bypass is not working on my Z1, I also get the parking brake error at startup and does not go away with soft reset? Anyone else have this problem?

Crap, these wires don't work either, My installer said that the illumination is wrong "amperage"? not enough to trigger the unit? VSS not there. Any other suggestions? I have 2006 Passat, V6 w/DynAudio system... Thanx!

First thanx to everyone for their support on this site! 1). My installer said could not hook up the illum wire as it is not the correct voltage??? Does anyone know anything about this? 2). My installer said that if he hooks up the speed sensor, it could mess up the computer of the car??? Does this make sense? 3). He did do the bypass for the updated bluetooth Z1, it works great! Lastly, I thought if you had the XM module installed, that you could see all the XM icons for the stations, mine has no icons, just the names, and without scrolling, you cannot read the entire dat
