  1. I have installed this mod into two units now. When I installed it into my unit, it worked flawlessly and quickly. Everything was very smooth. However, when installing it on the second unit, I've run into some problems. The main screen icons always have the warning message in the background. It's like the screens overlap each other. I can see all my previous screens underneath the current screen... I've factory reset and re-installed this twice. Any suggestions?
  2. harness is the same for the d1 and f900. i just did the same upgrade.
  3. I have copied the data file several times and haven't seen any results. I first tried copying the file into the appropriate folder. After that didn't work, I dragged and dropped the DATA file into the appropriate folder. Still no luck. Any ideas? My main concern is to get the software bypass working. I figured the bypass was included in the data file.
  4. whoa...easy there...not everyone all at once now...
  5. Hey everyone, I've fiddled around with the D1 custom backgrounds for about a month now. I've noticed that a lot of the pictures I upload, lose their coloring. I know with the white ones they will look transparent but I've been getting that with a lot of the one I've downloaded straight from the gallery. What I do is this: Save the image from the galleries posted on the forum Open up photoshop and then save them as BMP files. I use the PIM Manager program to open them as a BMP and then save as a PIM file. Then I upload them to the appropriate folder on the disc. Is there a sol
  6. i know this thread is about a month or two old but if you haven't removed your bose speakers yet, then good, DON'T DO IT. The other user stated that you should be running your bose speakers through and independant amplifier...chances are, you're bose speakers are already running off the BOSE amplifier. So you're good. Just fine tune your settings on the deck and they will sound great. I've got a 12 speaker setup plus 2 self-powered subs for my A4. They sound even better now with the D1 than they did with the Bose Symphony II head unit.
