    Did you bother reading the manual at all? I see like 10 threads on the 1st page alone with your simple questions. The antenna needs to see the sky thats it, mine sits under a metal vent on the dash and still connects to 6 sats.

    Yup. Drove my car a little more than 1/4 mile in reverse with no reverse wire connected. The avic tracked just fine. Of course its still going to track you, it thinks you are going forward.

    If I'm worried, I used a hoodie that I put on my dashboard to drape down over the radio. It looks like the hoodie is on the dashboard instead of like I'm hiding something behind it.

    BTW I was using nero to make an mp3 dvd and it wouldnt let me mix mp3 and wma formats. So I made a data dvd using the folders the music is organized it and it worked perfectly.

    Somewhat. I only emailed him once to see if it shipped. I emailed him about two hours before I got it. Shipping was only about 10 days.

    Does your car have a double din sized area for the radio?

    I would contact him and see if theres something for your model. This plugged right into the factory harness. It doesn't say anything else though but I know someone with same d3 and interface but his is a 2003 model and mine is a 2002 and the difference is his says pioneerere or something like that.

    I used a pioneer interface to keep the functionality of my stock steering wheel controls. It also generated the vss, reverse and illum signals making installation cake. Its not sold in the us. Part number CA-R-PI.131 or CARPI131. I had to buy it from someone in portugal on ebay.

    And reverse camera. Thanks crutchfield! Installation was extremely easy. The only fault I don't like with the d3 is that there are no 'entertainment' or visualizations while music is playing. I'm used to pioneer single din head units and the 'entertainment' as they called it.

    I have the 910 which is the older version which is about 5 years old. I'm pretty sure it still works with the d3. My question is has anybody used both and noticied a difference between the two?
