I tried real quick today but could not hear any audio. I went into the Avic's settings and put AUX to video and the screen goes black but no audio. Any help would be great! TIA

  4. Hi all I have a Z2 converted up to Z3 which is very limited in what I would like to do with it. I am looking to take advantage of all the new options of the newer units out there and use my Android phone to its full capabilty through a new head unit. ie phone book, all streaming audio anything that is possible. Also which unit has pretty much everything built in it? ie: Bluetooth, HD radio, Sirius. Also can I use anything that I have now on my Z-2, like my Sirius adaptor, wire harness adaptor that I have now? So which model would you recommend? Any help would be great! TIA

  7. Hi, I have an Pioneer Avic-Z2 with Garrett's updated HDD and maps and a Motorola Photon 4g. I want to connect my phone to it via blutooth and stream audio to it. I have the ND-BT1 adaptor connected. I can scan on the phone and see the Avic but everytime I hit connect the phone says "can't pair to Pioneer". Shot in the dark but has anyone here ran into that problem and is there a fix... TIA
  8. Thanks garret for that info!! I have been trying to figuire that out for awhile...

  10. The Fourth Plug For Garret! Thanks For The HDD. Work Great and Had It In Two Days. Definitely Worth The Money. Thanks Again Garret!
  11. Ok, got it. Just had to do the reset and problem went away. Now no more pop-up and the video stays on the screen. I think I read here somewhere that It only stays on for a period of time then finally goes off. True? Thanks for the help Ducatiboy.
  12. Thanks Ducatiboy, I did not know about the reset. I read a few posts that u had mentioned it, but did not even think about it with my problem. I will take ur advice and do the test and do the reset if I have the wrong wire hooked up. Thanks again WGFA
  13. I have a 2006 Ford F150 and I have read the instrutions and got advice here, as to where to splice the green wire to my parking brake. I hooked it up to the green/pink wire, I get warning screen that it is not hooked up properly. So I switch to the black wire on the plug same result. I am pretty sure that the green/pink is the one to hook to, but I get the warning screen. Anbody have a answer for me on this? I'm stumped. TIA WGFA
