We already have one http://www.avic411.com/forum/viewtopic. ... highlight= I got that Photoshop so that I could make some of my own.... but there were so many options I got psyched out lol.
  4.

The boot up from car off to audio playing is probably 8 seconds (it's probably 15 seconds till the screen is "on" so you can see the AV screen to change what was playing when you turned off the car). The worse case is if you turn the music off and have the Z1 on "NAV" and turn the car off. Then when it boots up the music is off and it has to boot to nav first, then you have to hit ok past a disclaimer screen and then hit AV to turn on the AV and turn on the music. That's probably 20 seconds.

I am sorry but I have had two Z1 and
  5.
I'd rather spend $25 for Ducattiboys circuit than a couple hundred on a remote start lol
I think his point is that if you already have or intend on getting a remote start that you wont need Ducattiboys circuit. However this is not true with all cars or maybe it depends on how the alarm installer hooks up the remote start, because my remote start flashes the lights but my interior illumination will not work unless the key is in the ignition.
  6.
NO body wants it to start up faster? thsi is the slowest start up i have ever seen
Slowest start-up ten times over. I wish it had a Volume fade to on. I hate the fact that i start my car drive half way down the street then the radio finally come on at full blast where i left it. If its gonna take that long to startup at least slowly fade the volume up to where i left it.
  7. Sorry for the title I didn’t know what to write. I installed a system on my own, and everything went well until I installed a pos Fosgate amp, which after hours of troubleshooting I find out its no good because it is putting out .5v on the input side of the AMP. Which screwed up 3 HU, a pioneer AVIC D1 and two AVIC Z1. I just wanted to know if there was a simple way to fix the HU's or if I am just SOL. I just hope that my HU backfeed by .5V is not enough to permanently destroy them. Any help please...
  8. You can just put a simple switch on that wire if you desire or if you use the Flasher and I think you can just leave it as is. If you don’t have the ILL wire (orange) connected then the night time screen wont work. You can either search the internet for the ILL for you car or you can find it yourself with a Voltmeter, just look for the wire that goes from 0v to 12v when you turn you headlights on. Check http://www.avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=478 Even though you have daytime running lights your ILL inside your car should
  9. I am glad someone showed me this site, i was getting ready to return mine because it take 30sec+ to boot up i thought there was something wrong with it. Does anyone know why or if they are going to fix it? I assumed that it might be the HD spinning up or some thing but i had a D1 before and it would come on instantly and that has nothing to do with the source of Software so why is the Z1 so slow? By the way hello from the FNG :D
