I thought about using it on my x920 after the new update, but it appears you need all these fancy expensive cables to get it working. It looks cool, but not $150 cool.

I don't think the adapter will work on the current units since it uses the 3.5 audio out? Remember, ipod out is no longer supported.

On the 2011 Map update there was a modification that made it so the receiver would just accept any password (well, I think it was just 000000) so if you would share that would be pretty awesome and we can see if the previous system mod still allows the install.
